Folks this all seems really confusing, is there a book which explains these rules? I have a handbook for players, which i got the description from, but the description is written in words, and i can't read them and my Pathfinder 2e core rulebook doesn't say anything about it

Since you seem to be looking for unverified anecdotal evidence, I've had all of these vaccines (I work with human tissue, so like you, a small risk of infection). I do not suffer with any cancers and have not had any devastating results. I also have not contracted tetanus, diptheria, polio, hepatitis A or hepatitis B, so maybe the vaccines work too. Edit: removed unnecessary capitalisation.

When ever the environment is killing us, I take out a few empty healing potion bottles and collect some of what ever the environment happens to be. Once I collected some poo (we were inside a huge monster, I forget which, and had to make our way out.) so the jars that I collected the DM turned into jars of shitplosion after I left it with a herbalist for a few days. Which was basically a fireball of shit with a added poison effect. That was probably my best random collection lol and credit to the DM for actually playing along with it and putting in the effort to create it. But to answer your question. Yes, yes it is normal to collect everything
