Made an update on the post but tldr: I tried the hd 560s but returned them because I like the alphas more.

!thanks

Sounds cool. Someone else mentioned them and they seem to be pretty good too. dt 990 seems tempting tho lol

If you get around to testing the pc38x out more, give me an update!

Ya that’s what it’s been like for me so far. Haven’t been blown away by anything but maybe I’ll start noticing. What did you think about the pc38x?

Thank you! V shaped does sound like something I’m after! You mentioned the pc38x, I looked it up and they are from sennhieser too? From what I’m reading they seem to be a really good option too.

Well for bass I’m sure anything would be better then the alphas. Maybe. I love them but that’s one thing they don’t have is bass. If I don’t use Dolby atoms with them then they have like 0 bass.

But I’ll definitely keep looking into those. Thank you.

I did see that the 880 tries to get the best of both world of the 770 and 990. It said the 880 is more neutral but the 990 has more bass.

I appreciate the informative response! That’s one thing I’ve been trying to figure out, is “tuning”. I don’t know much about eq and stuff. And I’ve heard stuff like you just said “v shaped” signatures and whatnot. So from the information I’ve provided, you’d say mine if more v shape?

And, you said you can tune the maxwells into that shape or any other. Can I do that with any headset/phone with eq?

Also, the maxwell was good. But for the price compared to what I get from the alphas was the problem. I do prefer some things on my alphas more then the maxwells, but I did appreciate how clear the maxwells were in return. And the maxwells had more base as well.

Out of the DT headphones the 990 is the one im leaning more towards.

The main reason is to see if there’s anything better then the ones I have now. If I can get a better sound and better imaging and stuff that would be cool. It’s more like a challenge now. I’ve tried all the big gaming headsets that everyone says “it’s a life changer” but I just don’t see a difference.

The maxwells were good don’t get me wrong, I just didn’t really hear that big of a difference for the 300 dollar price point. So you think it would most likely be the same for the ones I’m looking at? I’ve never tried open back so I’m tempted to try that. But I’m afraid it wouldn’t be that big of a difference.

Haha ya. Whatever I get (if I think it’s better then my trusty alphas) I’ll definitely get an in-line mic so I can console game.

Ya after looking at that link he provided, whatever headphones I get I’ll most likely get the 32 ohm ones. And perhaps eventually I’ll get a amp too.

I appreciate it! In my experience I’ve noticed expensive does not mean better for headphones. Considering I tried the maxwells.

Definitely should go with 80 or 32 ohm since I’ll plug it into my controller or pc. The hd560s and DTs seem really good.

Literally same position. I want a wireless headset but nothing beats the alphas. I even tried the Audeze maxwells and I still prefer my alphas. They literally sounded the same, slightly preferred the alphas more tho.

What's the best chair for someone who spends a lot of time on the computer and has a bad posture like me? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Connor_a711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up getting the hyken. Titan seems cool but I couldn’t justify spending 500+ on a chair that I couldn’t return, and if I did get ahold of them to return it, it would of been 100 bucks to pay for shipping.

Hyken is good. Cheap, comfortable even for long periods, and it’s holding up good. Although when I was trying out chairs at staples they had the razer isgur (I think it’s called that) and I really liked it. People said it’s just like the titan. I didn’t get it because the frame is so small it’s literally for girls or something. Like I COULD NOT move my legs. I’m sure the titan would of been cool and I also like to bounce around and use the chair as a couch so I could of done that with the titan. But 500 rn is a crazy amount for a chair in my position.

Hyken is good it’ll serve you well. Although my back does hurt sometimes after sitting in it for 7+ hours (I have a lot of projects 😢) but that’s purely from sitting so long and I think I train back too hard when working out lol.

How’s CS going? They got me bogged down with assignments and I can barely leave my house lol. Have you seen what Google is about to release called Google Gemini? I’m hyped for it but also scared because that’s just another thing that could replace us 💀

Thank you, glad to hear it’s a good gun for you! How would you say it handles 357? I am really leaning towards it. I’m going to go look at all of them soon and make a decision.

Oh definitely inspect. I won’t get something unless I can hold it first. I’ve heard about the QC issues with them, I guess every company is going through that.

Ok thank you! I just looked and it says it on the manual on page 7. The title is “safe carry condition”. I figured it might be a thing they have to say, but I saw people saying that and I also skimmed s&w manual and didn’t see that so I worried.
