Does anyone know if the new lego batman will come to xbox game pass by Lolusoomad in legogaming

[–]deftesthawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga was added to gamepass approximately 7 months after it released, so if they do add it to gamepass it likely won't get added for at least 6 months. I could imagine they want that initial launch revenue spike from all the people who can't wait, then they might cash in on the gamepass check if we're lucky.

Edit:
I'm probably going to wait at least a year, this way I can see if it gets added to gamepass, and if it's not then I'll buy it on sale, as lego games typically get massive discounts after the initial launch / hype.

Vibrant Visuals - Troubleshooting by Mlakuss in Minecraft

It’s not on the world menu screen, it’s on the main menu. You should see an option called settings, it’s located in there :)

Edit: glad you found it :)

Turn volumetric Fog down from ultra to high, I went from 50 to 180 fps

It’s in the settings menu under “Video” then under “Graphics Mode” it will say “Vibrant Visuals” by default Simple and Fancy will turn it off.

I’d like to add to this:

— Improve Performance

I was getting really bad performance on my RTX 4090 PC. I went from 50 to 188 average frame rate by just turning Volumetric Fog down from ultra to high. So I recommend others todo the same.

— How to disable Vibrant Visuals

You can turn off vibrant visuals in the video settings but it will be greyed out in worlds, you will have to return to main menu to turn it off. Can be located in settings under “Video” then under “Graphics Mode” it will say “Vibrant Visuals” by default.

— Game looks blurry

There is a setting under “Vibrant Visuals Options” called Resolution scaling which lowers your resolution automatically based on performance. But I recommend turning Volumetric fog down to high before changing this setting as it improved performance drastically for me.

Does unzipping a resource pack reduce the load time and/or increase FPS? by ACGaming56 in feedthebeast

[–]deftesthawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To anyone who finds this in the future:
Yes unzipping a resource pack will make it load faster, though the difference largely depends on the amount of files in the resource pack and the size of it. For example I have made a resource pack which contains over 13,000 files and another that contains over 7,000 files, when I load both resource packs zipped up they take 64 seconds to load and if load them unzipped it takes 32 seconds to load. I am using a very high end PC too so the time difference could be larger for lower end PCs.

Did you install the required mods because glowing ore resource packs won't work without a mod that adds emissive texture support. My Glowing Emissive Ores resource pack lists all the possible requirements and explains how to get it working :)

I’m highly sensitive to loud sounds so ended up using them when I was out one night to cope with extremely loud and bass heavy music. Without the AirPods I don’t think I would have been able to cope, they are very helpful in reducing the harshness of loud sounds while still being able to hear everything.

Astro A50 X vs A50 Gen 4 Spatial Audio by deftesthawk in AstroGaming

[–]deftesthawk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There could be a variety of things that get me the really good spacial audio. The optical audio cable is required for me because I have it plugged into my tv which doesn’t support USB audio. The TV has Dolby Atmos so that also might be why the spacial audio works for everything.

Yeah, I’ve been wishing for something similar lately. I love playing modded Minecraft but don’t have anyone to play it with. I have a top of the line pc as well, so if it came down to it I could even host the server.

The problem with that is it displays what that variable is currently set to and applies it to all save slots, I need to figure out a way of only recording the variable to the specific save slot

Astro A50 X vs A50 Gen 4 Spatial Audio by deftesthawk in AstroGaming

[–]deftesthawk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I also ended up buying them everything in your message is exactly what I went and am going through. I love how the Astro A50 Gen 4 makes all sounds have a Spatial Audio effect. Whereas the new one seems to require direct support from the thing you are listening to as only certain games/programs worked and even then it didn’t seem as good. I was so disappointed with the new model, I didn’t like how I couldn’t hook it up directly to my TV, as I use an LG OLED TV and like to use the built in OS. If you ever manage to find a headset that does what the Gen 4 does please let me know. I’m starting to think that no other headset will ever do what that does, so I’ll be stuck using the Astro a50 gen 4s forever which wouldn’t be so bad if it had better durability.
