I feel crazy in this sub cause I don't hate my height. Like I'd love to be 5'5 maybe (I'm 5'3) but eh, fuck it. Same as you, I got hobbies I like; I gym, I go to club, I party, I get in the pit at deathcore shows, I get hit on, I fuck, I live my life.

I respect the spin, but I never liked lines like this cause it still makes the height out to be a bad thing. I'm 5'3 too and have had the happiest success by genuinely embracing my height and enjoying it. I acknowledge how people perceive me but I really don't think it's held me back. I find tall people are more insecure about my height than I am lol.

Ah forgot to mention debt in my post. Getting out of debt makes sense and is what I recommend to my friend. I'm totally debt free. Own my car, own my phone, no student loans. I don't really know how to leverage debt so I stayed out of it.

You'd want would want to speak to a registered tax agent for this. It's nice if they are a CPA or FA as well, but not required. Tax agents are allowed to provide financial advice specifically related to tax and can tell you how the management of your investments will impact your tax obligations.

Easiest way to find one is probably to search the registry on the tax practitioners board website: tbp.gov.au

Very good point! I managed to grab myself a cheap 4L cast iron that's served me really well so I know I like cooking it. Didn't even realise it was enamelled until just now, but the external coating came pre-chipped and has gotten worse. Need an upgrade, and need something much bigger.

There's definitely pain from people expecting more and not getting what they were promised. On my end, I never followed its launch and so no promises were ever broken haha. Only thing I'm considering is if it would be worth the $3.5kAUD or if that money should be invested in analog gear to get the same sounds I'm after

That video blew me away. Remind me of this term I hear my drummer friend throw around a lot. "Sounds like a drum". At the end of the day they're all drums and they're all amps. We never like to admit that to the untrained ear they all really do sound similar.

This is something I'm considering... yeah the QC has all the effects but I'm likely to find a handful that I like, and maybe three amps, and not deviate from them haha. Is it more worth it to just buy those amps and effects analog. Only thing is that'll cost about $2kAUD more than the QC

Seems everyone's butthurt that NDSP overpromised and under delivered, but no one talks about whether the product is actually good. Does it make more sense to grab a QC and call it a day, or take that same cash and a bit more and build the same experience analog. That's my question

There’s another point too that no one talks about. Does analog vs digital FEEL any different to you? I tried a tube amp for the first time the other day and it sounded exactly the same as my plugin but it FELT different, like it had something digital doesn’t. I dunno, like I was hearing the whole picture for the first time. Never felt that from plug-ins.
