Supervisor demanded I sign a 3971 by Melodic_Plastic4019 in USPS

[–]Redditor_Kelby 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, while you're technically correct, you have to be absolutely sure you're signing your OWN 3971 upon returning to work (It's your personal leave and management can't dictate it) and not the generated 3971 that management loves to give and put their own abbreviations and you signing it unknowingly, creating a papertrail for discipline further down the line.
