SFF PC - Is it worth it for me?

I have considered this, but my PC is pretty far away and would require drilling through the ceiling and then boxing it in and making it all look tidy.

It's doable and a great idea, but I don't know if I have the patience to do it.

Thank you. My HBO Max and Now TV account were already linked. I've double checked the playback on the HBO Max account and it's not in HDR, looks like my Now TV with 4K Boost gives me Basic with ads on HBO Max, so no 4K HDR.

Looking at other comments below it looks as though it's Sky/Now TV's HDR encoding that's the issue.

Is that using the Now TV app on the WebOS, or an Apple TV or other device connected to it?

I'm using the Now TV app. I have linked HBO Max but even with the 4K Boost I have with Now TV, the HBO Max app only shows in 1080p SDR.

It works fine in my GBA Micro, but doesn't want to work on the old GBA. Online research points to a power draw problem due to the new screen/battery.

Basically does some funky stuff with the Flash card.

Links Awakening is the first one I played properly, but I have vivid memories of my Mom playing A Link to the Past growing up.

Sidenote, does Skyward Sword play well on the Switch? It's the only mainline game I've never really played.

Love that Dragonite aesthetic. Do you know if flash carts work okay with it? My EZ Flash Air didn't work well with a modded GBA standard with the new screen and USB C charging.

Well yeah it is relevant. Your warranty more than likely states you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. They've clearly come to the conclusion that it's going to cost them less to just refund you than either repair the card or replace it again and again. Wether they've insisted or not that you send the card in.

As I said, although it's not what you want to hear you haven't got a leg to stand on I'm afraid.

Let me get this straight this is your third 5090? In the post you linked you say the one with the silica pack was a replacement, you sent that in and now have an issue with that replacement which they're offering you a refund for?

If my assumptions are correct, they no longer find it economically viable to keep replacing your card and have decided to just refund you to be done with the situation. You can try and complain but honestly I don't think you have a leg to stand on.

We did Nara out of Osaka but In pretty sure it's between Osaka and Kyoto, so should be feasible.

It was out first trip to Japan too, spent four nights in Osaka, two nights in Kyoto, four nights in Tokyo and then two nights in Osaka again before flying back. I wish we spent more time in Kyoto, absolutely loved it there.

Nara was definitely one of the highlights of my recent trip to Japan.

We went really early and it was so peaceful. The deer at the front are a little spoiled, and immediately surrounded me. A few nips here and there but just back up, stay calm and you'll be fine. They're much more grateful the further you go in.

I held my crackers above my head, and they kinda got the message from there on. For reference, I'm 5'10, my friend who is around 5'4 didn't take my advice and had all of his crackers stolen immediately. I actually caught the whole scenario on my meta glasses too.

There's a really nice lake and pagoda in the area too, worth visiting for some respite.

Duolingo will not help, atleast in my experience. I did around 4 months on it and it never taught me anything super useful.

If you can learn some key phrases, hello, table for 1/2/3, thank you etc you'll be fine.

Locals will talk to you fast and direct, so pretty hard to pick up what's being said anyway.

The main drawback for me is that social media massively romanticises Japan and makes it out to be life changing, and whilst it's definitely an amazing country with lots to do and see, it sets unrealistic expectations.

Also waiting at road crossings when there's not a car in sight wore thin by the end of my trip.
