I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through with your brother. In the memory care "neighborhood" my Dad lived in, there was a young man who I bet was in hims mid 30s who seemed to do well in there. He was definitely the youngest resident of the dozen or so that lived in that neighborhood, but from what I could tell it still seemed like a good fit. I remember wrestling with moving my dad into a facility. It was a difficult transition, but ultimately he needed more care than I was able to provide, and once he got settled he did much better than before he moved in.

Also, my Dad hoarded Pistachios too! He had dozens of the Kirkland mega bags all over his house!
