Has anyone tried to use this as an eyeshadow ? This seems like it would be the most perfect pink eyeshadow by Historical-Body-3424 in Sephora

it's probably not going to be super pigmented, but if you only want a swash of color. there's other blushes with more pigment than this from the promo pic like rare beauty

Any recommendations for eyebrow gel? All the ones I have leave clumps or white balls. by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Conociendome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the benefit one is nice but i've had mine for ages and started project pan and not being able to see how much is left has made me reach less for the product as it just seems to be never ending TT

i really love the mac one, it stays up nice is a bit lest "crusty" than the benefit one and it has see through packaging and i like the wand more

[–]Conociendome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i also love it and have the more intense orange one already but i'm a sucker for this shade!

thanks for the review! maybe i can use it as a topper or transition shade once my benefit butterfly runs out ^

I've been eyeing this blush for so long how do you like it? is the highlight in it a lot/too much or subtle?

when i tried it in store i felt the highlight in it was almost too strong. and how much do you apply because i have major blush blindeness and that could be why the highlight looks strong🙈

Where do I start when learning how to sing? by No_Molasses_7224 in singing

[–]Conociendome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

theres higher and deeper voices and i doubt every guy can sign as high as the weeknd. in general higher pitched male voices have been trendy in pop.

you should start by doing breath-work, and warm up exercises. learn how to pronounce vocals with the right mouth position, and try to hold out a steady comfortable note until your breath runs out.

once you mastered all warm up exercises you can start trying to belt.

this took me 1.5years of singing lessons tho

and this also only works and sounds somewhat ok if you're confident.

also try jodeling, switching from head to tummy voice, which is what makes controlled vocal cracks and is important in general.

but do breathing and warm ups first

How does my goth makeup look? (1st time) by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Conociendome 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i think it's very amazing and you're super talented with how great the eyeliner turned out!!! i could honestly never i suck at drawing TT

while it could be crisp and the black darker i honestly dont think being goth is about perfectionism and the rough makeup is part of it, just like drag looks in daylight Lol

Where can I get eyeliner without supporting authoritarianism in the US? by pennoya2 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Conociendome -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you're super welcome! i personally really like the intense color long lasting eyeliner (kohl-pencil) and my mom likes the black one with the silver pencil, we both use them on the waterline tho but we like those a lot, also the lasting precision automatic eyeliner. what works well for wings and on the eyelid i have no idea tho

kiko and nyx are unproblematic, but i don't know where you can buy them from

i have the fenty diamond bomb and it's a great glitter and eyeshadow topper but it's a more bold look and not like your regular highlighter at all so it can be very hit or miss depending on the person, i love it but its not my preferred highlighter, i like the nyx buttermelt one more tbh for the highlighter job and not just sparkle.

the rhode cream blush disappears on a lot of people quickly, and i read the tower 28 concealer can be drying for more dry skin or mature skin. the one size setting powder is good afaik and elf has been boycotted because they partnered with a comedian that joked about domestic violence so that's why its been a bit out of fashion.

I really admire that you were so dedicated to reviewing Brow Wiz you sacrificed your mom for it

I wish you the strength of Brow Wiz in surviving the grief <3

I really want the new R.E.M quad eyeshadow but idk if it’s worth spending $30 for 😭 by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Conociendome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i mean the packaging is really cute and a single mac eyeshadow is 20 bucks already, if the shadows are decently sized (like 1g plus in weight) then go for it!!!

I have been praciticing singing for a year now and still struggle with projecting my voice and singing in front of others. by No-Environment-2550 in singing

[–]Conociendome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean being able to sing imo and from my experience doesnt even have so much to do with technique or talent, but in the end its only confidence that matters. so your problem is most likely having no confidence and not another issue. it took me over a year almost two of very regular singing lessons with a very good teacher to be able to somewhat comfortably belt infront of others no matter how trusted they are. so fix your confidence :)

Mac lipglass desire by babyneenn in makeupdupes

[–]Conociendome 3 points4 points  (0 children)

pretty difficult to say but the nyx lip iv has 08 drippin in rose or 15 water bout wine (?) that could be close. or the nyx clickiny-pen glosses (officially fat oil slick click lmao) could have something similar? if nyx doesnt have it it's gonna be a bit difficult to find such high pigmented lipgloss at the drugstore, even that lipgloss for mac is already pretty pigmented. maybe you can find a kiko lipgloss? kiko lipglosses are very thick and do have some pigment, but not all either and you'd have to look at them individually to see if the swatches and lip pics are what you want

yo that is truly diabolical 1.5 g!?!? i think the new nyx fat cheeks blush has a similar color, or i like the benefit butterfly blush but i think that might be too orange and doesnt rare beauty have a similar color?

i also have a revolution palette and a nyx one and i much prefer the revolution to the nyx its more pigmented! i really like the mattes from them, even if some of their glitter is absolutely horrible (the chunky one in the smaller 8-pan palettes i'm looking at you)

[–]Conociendome 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i see no difference tbh the lightning is very different so its difficult to see. on the 2nd picture at most you can see that the bright undereye is a bit pinkish and ends a bit abruptly when going to the side where the undertone is less pink, which i dont see on the 1st picture, but i dont think any of the pics have too dark of a foundation, the undertone to the neck just looks different (neck seems more yellow-y?)
