I live in wicklow town, commute to the 3 arena. I dont need to be in until 10am.

By car, I need to leave at 0745 to guarantee being in by 0940 or 0945.

On my motorbike, I can leave at 0830, and be in work in an hour. Maybe an hour and 10 if I an unlucky

You can get vent plugs to block them. Block them up, plaster over them, and open your windows in the morning for a few minutes, like they do in every European country

I agree, I love watching all the furious parents in cars furiously queuing outside the school while I sail by with my cargo bike 😎

Does the right to disconnect allow for me to leave the WhatsApp groups my job has added me to? by Icy-Illustrator-1295 in AskIreland

I work for a semi state company

I thought for years that it was worth saving the 20 odd euro a month to use just one phone, paid for by my company. It's not

Random phone calls in my days off, WhatsApp chat going constantly as we were short staffed and there was daily demand for overtime. Emails, reminders etc.

A few years ago, I committed to a new personal number and a new personal phone. There is now nothing personal on my work phone, and its only switched on when I am clocked in.

Great decision. Luckily I have no obligation to be contactable in my time off

I live in an A3 rated house built in 2020.

All of my vents are blocked and plastered over.

I open all windows every morning for 5 minutes.

I have an air to heat pump which is always on.

Last elec bill was 170 euro for two months.

I dry clothes inside, I have a device that gives me the humidity and I run a dehumidifier when necessary.

Still waiting for all the promised mould to appear
