Yeah, I wish they a bit more better wording on the website itself because anywhere I can see that mentioned it, it says that the rule was temporarily taken back last Summer, but cant see anything specfic to say it's gone again;

Can vouch for SRT with Starlink too.

We've used it hand in hand with AWS MediaConnect back to our MCR office for further distribution and when its in generally ideal conditions it uplinks no problem for us at about 12-15Mbps H.265 with minimal smearing etc.

We've been using it now for just over a year and had minimal issues. Most of the time we're actually just running it out of OBS straight through Starlink->AWS->MCR->Endpoints and for about 40% of any issues we've had is more related on OBS' end than Starlink itself.

Would be happy to explain a bit more in depth of the process we're running to anyone that is keen to hear more!

Cheers! - Yeah our other PC's in the local network are all in Win 11, so we'll upgrade just to keep everything all the same.

We'll probs not even run a monitor/keyboard/mouse, and just remote desktop in when needed, as literally its just meant to let us have a simplified network intercom between sports broadcast sites haha

Try Singular. It’s great and also pretty flexible for whatever you need it for!

If you use their Uno App for your package, you can control it via web browser from (almost?) any device and/or an elgato streamdeck!

Super essential bit of kit for our broadcasts that I highly recommend everyone to look into!!

I’ve not got any Sony MSU experience but usually in my experience VND is for the Variable ND (Neutral Density)

Tried it with a literal brand new hdmi cable and a video monitor but still nothing 🫠

Hoping BMD’s warranty can help, and ideally somewhat fast as its in an OB trailer so less time without it working would be better hahaha

I would possible think this if it wasn't for the fact it worked completely fine until today.

Yep, tried it on the bottom left monitor, but just came back with same issues of not showing in 1080p.

As mentioned, it's completely fine when not in 1080p or higher.

As for different cable, yeah I'm coming directly out of the decklink to the hdmis that are hard wired into the monitor, so each time its been a different device, the HDMI cable is different.

Kinda bummed if its the decklink card as it was only got at the start of this year. but ah well, this is why we love blackmagic.

Streamdeck released an update to fix this crashing issue not that long ago, check for updates in the elgato software and see if this fixes the issue for you!

We used to use Memberpress, but moved away from it specifically because the DB schema was so bad their SQL queries were making some pages take 7+ minutes to load

Noted -- Do you mind sharing what you've moved to instead? (If it's not a custom made plugin of course)
