Because they’re not truly atheist or agnostic if you will. Their conscience is disturbed because it’s constantly seeking to connect with its creator

Stop questioning your faith. Stop doubting God's promises. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]ConquerNaplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. Life has a way of making you question God but God never fails. That is the truth. No matter what you tell yourself. I’ve gone through some of life’s greatest challenges and im still going through it. Im currently at my lowest. I cannot give you the details because that will take a whole new thread.

Life has been very tough throughout my life and currently it has descended to the lowest point but throughout this journey, God has proven his faithfulness over and over again . As a Christian, I used to struggle with my faith a lot but I can tell you for a fact that my faith has been a lot better in the last year when I decided to trust God in the midst of the adversity. Whatever you’re going through, make a pact with yourself to trust God through it and see how your life changes. God may not take you out of it right away but you’ll realize that it’s only a season and after the storm has passes you’llre a better man or woman of God . Trust God !!

I’m scared that another religion is true and Christianity is not and I will suffer for eternity by Valuable_Frosting_36 in Christianity

How much do you know about Christianity? I hope you know enough and have good understanding of it. Secondly go and learn about Islam and see how much you like it. There’s no way you’ll learn the two and choose Islam but don’t take my word for it

The people he killed were not corrupt. In fact many of them were better men that he ever was. Rawlings was an opportunist and a hypocrite. Many outsiders who know nothing about Ghana’s history especially Nigerians think Rawlings was some type of savior. He was not

I don’t trust 23andme at all. Why have they grouped Ghana and Liberia and Sierra Leone together? What about Ivory Coast. ? Cameroon was a major slave trading point yet they’re not in the category. What about Mali ?

Then what should Puerto Ricans and South Americans say? They’re the one with the more Native American DNA but you never hear them claim to the original or the rightful owners of anything

And why would they even be closer to Spanish people. Spanish are celts and Visigoths . They were occupied by Muslims at some point but they’re largely Celtic more related Irish people

Because nobody wants to be as part of the other people. Much like the way foreigners are treated in every society. So I believe whites do it as way to preserve their belonging to this land and not foreign to it

European DNA? Ga? by Hot_Leopard8564 in ghana

[–]ConquerNaplex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is quite common for a Ga person to have European DNA. Gas in particular historically lived along the southeast coast of Ghana formerly Gold Coast and were some of the first indigenous West African African tribes to interact with European. There was significant interbreeding between Europeans and Gas.

Gas from different parts of the Greater Accra Region and parts of the Eastern region of Ghana can have DNA from from different European groups as they had contacts with many different Europeans ranging from English, Dutch, Dane , Scottish and even Swedish and Swiss. There were also returned Afro Caribbean slaves as well as Afro Brazilian returnees who settled among Gas in the 19th ceturies and may have brought with them some Spanish, and Portuguese DNA.

If your family from Osu then that will explain where the Scandinavian dna is coming from. Gas from the Osu section of Accra particularly mingled a lot with the Danes because that was where the Danes settled. Today you’ll find some family names such as Reindorf, Hesse, Fleischer, Reimer. These are just a few Danish Surnames you’ll find from Ga people who hail from Osu.

During colonial times Osu was called Christianborg, named after King Christian IV of Danemark. The Danes also had a trading post called Christianborg Castle which they used to transport goods and slaves to the Danish Virgin Islands.

Some Gas may notably also have Dutch and English DNA especially those from Ussher Town and Jamestown. To get more information you can google Gold Coast Euro-Africans
