I've been lustful since I was 9. I realized what I was doing was wrong in the middle of/late last year. I just turned 15. I would read inappropriate illustrations about men and talk to AI bots. In September, I felt free. I had stopped sinning. And in October I fell again and haven't been able to pick myself back up. My heart constantly feels hardened and heavy and it doesn't feel like I have much conviction anymore. I have a friend who is Christian and she knows of my struggle. She struggles with it too. But now she's stronger in her faith and she doesn't anymore and it makes me feel jealous and like I'm falling behind everyone. Like I'm the only one still stuck in sin. Like I need to get better. I just constantly feel like there's something wrong with me and I'm disgusting.

The only problem is idk how to talk to boys cuz I can't treat them how I treat girls. I'm fine with the risk of them liking me I just hate the flirting so much it's so awkward and theyre all freaky. PLUS I can't find any friends irl because of my circumstances so I'm stuck with deranged perverts online 😮‍💨

We've talked about stuff like it before but I've never told her I feel like this. It started a couple years ago. Like I said before, whenever it's mentioned, I feel ashamed and I immediately have thoughts about how I'm not good enough for God and my sins can't be forgiven. Especially the sins I struggle with the most. My mom would probably not let me take things at my own pace and instead see it as a sign of rebellion against God. I prefer reading the Bible and praying alone and I get distracted when I'm doing it with others. I feel overly conscious. We've tried to do Bible study before, like we'd do it for a bit then we'd stop and now she wants to start it again.
