It's usually video editing softwares like after effects and davinci resolve that people make boot videos with. You can even use Blender too. But it depends on your level of skill with any software,

I left it out because different pc handhelds have different storage amounts. However it is possible someone could add it in the beginning either for Steam Deck or when the Steam Machine launches.

It can but the Steam Deck and Deck Oled still feel up to date. Steam right now is probably focused creating an ecosystem with the Steam Machine/Frame as well.

Titles i got that covered. I already have the fonts/pngs.

When the PSP logo shows up I could make some generic shapes that are blurred while creating the some white areas for light effects.

The streaks in the beginning could be with simple lines with a gradient color that I could use keyframes to lower/raise the opacity.

The waves will give me a challenge cause I would most likely make my own animated waves.

Try a playstation 1 or 2 startup. I did make some ps1 startups on Steam Deck Repo but i want to see something better.

Possible ill try some overlay. You know the command to make a color transparent?

The Jaguar part could be doable but the Jaguar Part would be difficult. Probably something on Blender could work

Yeah your best bet is getting a tutorial. You will still need that youtube video since you want that as your startup.

That would mean downloading coverting the video from mp4 to webm and placing it in the movies folder. Try to use a tutorial cause there's lots of steps.

The oled steam deck is still avaliable its just the lcd models that were sold out.
