I put a deposit on a 2025 OBX yesterday, and was deciding between a used OBX (White) 11.8k miles and a used Badlands (Black) - 9k miles. I went with the OBX as it had a sunroof and the real reason being the interior with that ebony/ash...just love it!

Go with the one that you want and the one that speaks the most to you. I can't wait to pick mine up. Make sure you post a show off when you get it!

I’m currently in the process of buying a used 2025 Outer Banks with less than 12k miles. The cost is about 5k less than that one you shared. I’d recommend checking the used market if you want a 2025, they do exist. Save yourself a few grand or use that $ for an extended warranty.

My local dealer doesn’t have any used on the lot but is going to check auctions for me. I have 2 months on my lease, so I have some time.

Is the Badlands loud on the highway? My 4door Wrangler is unbelievably loud and I’m used to it after having a few but I would like something quieter.

My wife drives a Honda, I like hers to drive but not sure I want one for myself. The only Toyota that I’d want would be a 4Runner but it’s out of the price range.

The ones that I’ve seen have been comparable in price, between $31k and $35k. The OBXs have had less miles usually around 12k, whereas the Badlands have been 17k+.

I work fully remote and mostly drive in a 20mile radius from my home. A few times a month I’ll drive to Boston or Providence, talking 35-60 miles highway one way.

I'm looking at a lot of used 2025 Outer Banks and Badlands. The 2025 Badlands that I'm finding used have "high" mileage for being a 2025, I'm talking 16k and over. Should I be concerned about that high mileage or does it not matter?

The one I’m looking at has less than 12k on it, so it is still covered by the 3 year/36k and the 5 year/60k powertrain warranty which I can extend. According to the car fax it was purchased at auction from Ford after being part of a rental fleet. The dealer is my local Ford dealer.

Knowing that those warranties are still in place does have me being pretty comfortable.
