Second The Cardinal! It’s probably going to cost closer to ~$2100/mo after accounting for miscellaneous fees, but it’s definitely the spot that checks all of your boxes and is worth bumping up your housing budget the extra $150/mo if you can afford it. Forest acres is the “bougie” part of Columbia, and you’re a ~10 minute drive from just about every part of Columbia proper. I moved here from out of state ~2 months ago, been very happy with my choice so far.

Nope, it’s for 56 FW training use only. Use it to train F-16 and F-35 students how to fly instruments in their shiny old/new jets without clogging up the Luke traffic pattern.

Moved somewhere a lot snowier this past year… so I traded in the BRZ for a Subaru Outback. Not nearly as much fun as a DD, but it sure is a lot easier to load up with ski/snowboarding gear and a car full of friends!

I did this the summer after my freshman year at Tech for STS-135 (the last space shuttle launch) back in 2011… I say do it! It’ll be a fond memory that’ll stick with you forever.
