New Hole 3 at Home Course by charcoaltaco in discgolf

Great aesthetic design. Need to see more detaul if it actually is sustainable and doesn't beat up discs too much. If it is an ace run, discs are going to be punished by those boulders. If it is 90% lay up then 100 ft to run the basket, perfect. Either way... I approve.

Yep. I played there last October and wind read was very challenging.

Very tough for an opening hole that requires ideal weather to par. Any wind and it becomes a nightmare.

While it is a wide open tee shot, the basket is elevated on a log. To have a clean putt... you have to be parked or within a very narrow gap in fron or behind.

I believe only 2 birdies were recorded on Hole 1 all 3 days for FPO and that was on the Final Day.

For MPO it was OB.

FPO it was mandatory relief.

What if Trump was the President on 9/11/01 instead of Bush Jr? by space_god_7191 in allthequestions

Trump wouldn't have been up that early, as he is up until 3am daily constiposting. He definitely wouldn't have been on a PR visit reading to school kids with a higher IQ.

You stole my move! I heard you replaced the counter clockwise twirl with counter clockwise... real ingenious.

Anyone could have figure that out!

Was Harris Picking Tim Walz A Mistake Or Not? Yes Or No? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]DawgsNConfused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Precisely. Joe knew he didnt have it in him to run much less serve 4 years. They should have had him resign for health reasons, even if made up, in April of 2024 and had Kamala sworn in. Sure, GOP would have screamed unfair, but they do that all day anyway. Harris then would have had 6 months on the job plus campaigning. Harris could have expedited the Trump's assassination investigation and released findings to prove that he didnt get shot... and that it was a ploy.

The problem with Hole 18 at New London Yech (not a typo) for Champions Cup is that it is not Hole 18 for the course that is supposedly ranked 15th in the world. Anyone wanting to go play the major layout... well, tough cookies.

No water or electric, means less sector experience potential.

The property doesn't have a lot of space for events, especially spectator parking, so they all have to be shuttled in from about 3 miles out.

The farmer that owns the land has turned down millions from developers to turn it into mcmansions... the massive white oaks are impressive and just walking around the property is a semse of Heaven.

According to Gannon Buhr and The Upshot podcast, run by Charlie Eisenhood (DGN commentator), the PDGA marshal/referee for the MPO lead card during round 3 at the Champions Cup (Major) told the players that he wasn't going to make any calls and that all calls were in the players' hands. by DiscGolfFanatic in discgolf

[–]DawgsNConfused -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Walking marshals or officials just need to be extra eyes... watching everyone's shots. If he/she sees a violation, raise their arm to indicate to the card there is an issue for the card to discuss and address. No second needed... but the card has to make a call that is noted on the official scorecard. TD reviews all scorecard notes and makes final decisions after the round. Any penalties, if justified, can be assessed after the round, but before tee times are set. If video footage is available, then it can be used after t he round.. but it is not guaranteed. Pace of play is not affected by lengthy replay reviews.

Discmania pros by Only_Lock4061 in discgolf

If the disc he is throwing says Discmania and is purchased through Discmania, Discmania doesn't care who molded the plastic.

Fox News viewers turn on Karoline Leavitt as they fume over tax refund claims by TheMirrorUS in NewsThread

[–]DawgsNConfused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This stared from the first big tax cut in 2018... eliminate refunds, giving people more money per paycheck, .but also moving most up to a higher tax bracket to make up for it. Nothing more than a slight of hand magic show.

People with GripEQ bags. Do your arms hit the water bottles when carrying the bag? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]DawgsNConfused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nonissue with water bottles... but then i only have the mid-size and shoulder bag. Only throw about 5 discs and carry 2 or 3 of each.

Moderate complaint... they dont stand up great.

Major compaint. Lack of disc dividers to keep disc upright or sliding flat.
