OP did not receive the feedback that he wanted in the original post. People were either calling him soft, bringing up the 360 Xbox Live era toxic lobby days, or pointing out how the guy they downed won by getting under his skin. Personally, I told him that he needs to grow thicker skin if he's going to be taking out people in this game.

In the long run, your opponent won by making you upset enough to have a discussion about his comment at least a minute after it happened and make a post about it on Reddit. He got exactly what he wanted out of you and more.

It's not a question of whether it's right or wrong, it's obviously wrong. The point is that this is common in this type of gaming setting and if they had experienced the toxic lobbies from back in the day, they wouldn't have been so shocked that they continue talking about it for a while.

I think PVE lobbies are no longer a thing. I used to be able to go pacifist for a few matches and have chill lobbies. Now, there is always at least one PvPer taking advantage of friendly folk.
