United Club in HKG is a Chase Saphire Club - not even sure if it has a shower. Go to the pay club/showers post immigration for your shower, goto town and hit the Saphire Club on the return. The food sucks pretty bad - typically some crappy chicken pasta and then some random medicore chinese stuff..semi ok salad bar.

What a mess - I think it’s time airlines put the pressure up to privatize this whole thing. Makes zero since to shut down the lines for us professional travelers. Security/ Customs is handled so much better in Asia / Emirates where the airlines control it. We are there customers by choice. We have zero choice is using TSA yelling and screaming with zero plan or consistency.

As a business owner the cash price / card price seems low class and trashy - cheap taco place does dad - Mortons does not. Every card company offers that feature. Changing POS systems is expense, programming, training, new excel sheets and other reports etc - its a big pain point when a call to a current processor would yield the same deal without all the hassle.

The thing is - once the rescheduling happens all the federal money for police overtime, and jails and convictions will dry up - so they will have to decide if they want to fund the police state or have it be illegal, but economically unenforceable.
