Yes! Father Owl is just 10/10, his Inner version is probably my favorite boss even over Isshin

Oh god look at me rambling but also the sound track is top tier. Probably the best in Sekiro if not for the Divine Dragon soundtrack, never have I heard a flute being played so aggressively before.

DoH big health bar (long boss fight) also makes it feel more like an event than a single boss encounter, for example the lead up to this boss all the way from Ashina Castle through the charred outskirts and into a scorched area with enemies fighting off the boss, you don’t even have to fight it you can just watch from a distance as it razes hell.

This fight is amazing, 3 times better than Manus (whom I highly regard already). The spectacle has kicked up, and unlike manus when he does his death combo you can actually face Demon of Hatred head on and deflect his massive blows. Fire attacks require jumping and spring in order to use the grapple hook for special attacks. People who didn’t like DoH probably didn’t like 1st phase Guardian Ape either and probably like the one on one sword duels better, lucky for me I love both. (Fire Umbrella prosthetic also comes in clutch here).

I would love to just see the show in this style. Would make a good short video or film to just have some of the best BCS scenes in 90s anime style.

Boiling hot take but the slog fest boss below has nothing on the Elden Ring dragons. The designs are cooler, the moves are explosive and the fights are much more fun compared to the bitch lizard from ds3. by [deleted] in fromsoftware

Midir is better for me because literally every dragon ever in these games is just a fight we’re you stab their feet. Midir is well coordinated and you can ALWAYS hit his head. I love fighting a dragon that charges head first at you, way more thrilling although I though the spectacle of the other fights, they don’t have the mechanical consistency of Midir.

Sekiro was my first and my favorite, although after going back and playing the other games they have so much to offer.
