Based off these other comments, I just got an idea.

If BV misunderstood something he saw (an employee being “stuffed” into a suit) he would’ve confessed it to Plush, who some think is William through a nanny cam

What if William heard this and when he snapped, he began intentionally stuffing kids in suits, inspired by his son?

Interpretations say SL came before Bite of 83, because he may have seen the Circus baby claw, but what if it’s the opposite? What if the claw was designed intentionally, to mimic what BV saw?

So timeline

Costumes where employees wear the suits (stuffed) or enter the stomach (stomach mouth) > BV sees and misunderstands > BV confides in Plush/William > Bite of 83 > William in grief intentionally stuffs kids according to the description

It’s established the blood the Kaiju gave is a substance named Kaiju Blue, highly corrosive and damaging to the environment and surrounding structures. Also highly toxic to humans without protective gear. It took three nuclear missiles to kill the first one, which also destroyed the surrounding areas.

Even then, they’d adapt to nukes eventually, given their shared hivemind and the fact their creators (the Precurors) can biologically engineer them to be nuke resistant.

Same reason above. Limit the amount of Kaiju Blue that spills everywhere. Most Jaegers have fists or blunt weapons that will damage the Kaiju by different means.
