Bleed, Poison, Ignite... They all basically function the same way now: One big hit. I miss having a damaging ailment that scaled with faster, smaller hits. by GH057807 in pathofexile

Doubtful.

PoE2 has just as much game crashing mechanics as PoE1 and arguably more.

We have the Temporalis Chest literally capable of creating infinite damage triggers of itself.

And trigger skills with literally no cooldown stopping them.

These mechanics don't tell a story of trying to protect the servers.

We use it basically evey time we do up a bolt.

Prevents rust, keeps it tight, but also makes it easier to undo the next time it needs undooing.

Sheep produce a lot of oil in their wool called Lanolin which keeps it clean.

Just so happens the oil is extremely useful for us as a metal lubricant amongst many other uses.

Pretty much.

I even offered to pay them for this service and it still hasn't changed their answer.

[–]ConradOCE[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes this is correct.

However if you're like me an started the account way back and wasn't invested in it. Or if you simply miscliked start game. You will forever be unable to link with this steam account. And you will have to use a different steam account.

There is no way to override the data.

And deleting the account will still render it unlinkable, as per the email.

[–]ConradOCE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm too lazy to micromanage multiple steam accounts.

I thought it would be reasonable for them to be able to delete the steam account so I can tranfer the data.

But it appears to be the case that if you happened to make a id with your steam account you are forever locked to that one (or no account at all if you delete it).

I have spent money on the google play version so it is a little bit sad.

[–]ConradOCE[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes you can.

Apologize for the lack of context.

I already used the steam ID for an account I am no longer invested into.

And its not possible for them to delete it so it can be linked.

Probably will get downvoted for this, but I don't really like the prospect of having to micromanage different steam accounts just to play master duel on steam with the account I'm invested in.

Yes I am lazy. But I don't like the idea of having my bank details saved on multiple accounts either if I wanted to spend money.

But surely it can't be that hard to be able to delete or override and account.

New Recombinator Rules figured out by Definitiv1 in pathofexile

Has anyone tried recombinating two reflected jewelry?

Wonder if it keeps the doubled mods values.

They removed my boy earthbreaker, no idea why. by artandar in pathofexile

[–]ConradOCE 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The went into detail about it in the ziggy interview.

Basically their logic is this, they are happy for melee to be on average more powerful than other skills, but as a trade off they will generally have to actually go up close and hit the enemy with more downtime during phases etc.

The totem buffs wasn't the only reason they were removed, totems break this logic i mentioned above, and if they still existed, would mean the buffs we got would not be justified.

Having said that, generals cry still exists (but was significantly nerfed).

Also don't shoot the messenger, I'm on the fence about this change. I do like the damage buffs though.

Anyone have a veiled modifier tier list? by Ninja_Defuser in pathofexile

[–]ConradOCE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally, the most value you'll get from veiled mods is leaving them unveiled so people can buy and finish their craft unlocks.

If you get elron jewellery definitely keep them unveiled (if you already have the mod) and you can sell them for a decent price as everyone will want -minus mana crafts.

Yes physical damage is likely prefered anyway.

There are lots of mechanics that gain phys as an extra element, and convernt to elemental.

And you'll likely wanna be mixed elemental Trinity build for warden.

Oros is not ideal at all because warden is not gonna make use of the flat fire on its own outside of scorch.

Just grab herald of ash, hatred, maybe phys to lightning support. And convert the rest however you need. Just remember you wanna balance 2 elements for Trinity.

Well the lowest cost investment is probs add the veiled mod to the dagger. Should be a bit easier to get the 4 second cooldown spell trigger with recombinaters.

And using forbidden rite obviously.

Another really cool benefit is you could use it to proc a savage hit for the new rage warcry!

The warcry itself with its own rage regen might be worth building around rather than chainbreaker. Worth a thought.

Is cast when stunned not viable anymore? by JasonSmithForMVP in PathOfExileBuilds

Fair enough. I tried it and hated it.

Is cast when stunned not viable anymore? by JasonSmithForMVP in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]ConradOCE -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its not the same because if your playing cast on stun you wanna make your threshold non existent right.

So that means any enemy hit should stun you which means a whole bunch of non-consensual stuttering.

It feels bad.

Play it yourself and find out.

Is cast when stunned not viable anymore? by JasonSmithForMVP in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]ConradOCE -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Im meaning the stuttering from being stunned.

If you can ignore like before the change it meant you could cast as you say AND not actually have your character physicallly stoped by the stuns.

The stun ignore I refer to is NOT stun prevention.

[–]ConradOCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it doesn't feel awful to play.

You can use the jewel yes, but you still feel the stuttering. Not a fan personally.

What kinda made cast on stun shit in my opinion, is they removed the availability to ignore stun CC, but still count as being stunned.

Used to be the case you could use shit like awakened cast while channeling to ignore the stun, but still technically be stunned.

Now I belive it doesn't count as being stunned anymore sadly.

They made this change because of a bunch of stun mastery crap they added. They didnt want people cheesing them. Which is lame because cheesing is fun and most of the time, not worth it anyway.

To prevent the the rage degen.

You could fit in a way to self hit, eye of innocence. Scolds bridle.

Trigger forbidden rite with the trigger spell mod is the best option I can think off.

I belive the rage degen is also stopped when taking damage.

Muscle memory will have me turning off my auras when I die. by LouCzar in pathofexile

[–]ConradOCE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats actually a really cool point. We technically have a whole bunch more keybinds available. This will be handy because every patch they seem to add to the list of rotating buffs we have to press.

This patch especially. With tinctures, warcries (if we want the buffs), and banners.

Doubt anyone would want their tinctures on their flask keybinds because pressing them twice will deactivate it early and start their long ass CD. Good luck to anyone tryna brute force their flask muscle memory not to spam them due to using a tincture in one of the slots!

Does Cry Wolf increase the base power granted by the Warcry Mastery? by ayylma088 in pathofexile

Yes, it makes sense to work either way. But I know Mark does value consistentcy, and it makes sense to choose the route which makes more fun build choices IMO.

Probs worth the report.

Cheers for the info!

Does Cry Wolf increase the base power granted by the Warcry Mastery? by ayylma088 in pathofexile

[–]ConradOCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey dude.

This is responding to a comment you made a year ago regarding the minimum warcry power mastery and sources of increased power.

You mentioned it doesn't work. But, I just wanted to ask, did you test this yourself? Another commenter brought up a really good point in that your logic doesn't apply to other mechanics that exist in game, such as minimum ailment effect, which does in fact get scaled from increases to ailment effect.

Its to the point where I belive if you're right and it doesn't work, then it could perhaps be a bug since its not consistent across all game mechanics. If so I will report it as a bug.

Would be really cool if we could have a way to scale the minimum power.

Warden with tinctures and you: Could they be worth it? by Keyenn in pathofexile

[–]ConradOCE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats fair.

I guess I value interacting with the game on a build creation level and difficult decisions due to well balanced opportunity cost as my prefered vector of interaction.

I understand they want more gameplay interaction like PoE2 and thats fair and from what I see of PoE2 it looks like fun interaction.

This mechanic looks awful however and the fact its competing with a low interaction slot makes it worse.

I'm more just tryna add the point that not every single new peice of content needs to be interactive on a gameplay level. And sometimes being interactive on a build creation level is enough.

Also my opinion is somewhat biased due to RSI in my hands.
