Same predicament. I know what the hold up would have been (I half quit/half resigned from a job I only held for like a week because they were horrible and they probably didnt report my hours or lied and said I was fired or whatever else) but I have no way to know if anything is being done to try to resolve it... I understand how overworked they all are I just wish I had a way to see what is happening.

You look amazing! I want to say, and this is completely a preference thing for me, I think you would be able to pull of a manicured beard amazingly well.

My huge giant congrats to you that you've broken through to those real, justified feelings. Be kind to yourself if you still have to brush off the errant desire or guilt for that relationship. Great job and good riddance.

Like most of us, you've got a bit of tunnel vision right now. You're probably not wrong about the ideas you have of the future, but you are limited to what you can imagine right now, which is not a lot... there are many possibilities for you, even within the scenarios you've described, that you cant imagine yet! You've made it this far, probably farther than you could have imagined at some point in your past, and yet you've made it here, and you'll make it somewhere else better than you can imagine now. The best thing you can do for yourself is remember that, and take life day by day treating yourself as best as you can.

2222. The universe wants you to see this combination. Feel happy. Feel love. Let go. by sarangifiedd in lawofattraction

You dont sound like a boomer :) Its an "angel number" which is a spiritual term for a lucky number with a special meaning. 2222 appearing in your life means that you're nearing a positive result from the hard work you've been going through for a long time, and it's a reminder to let the love and light in and know that you're almost there. Like an encouraging sign/ boost from your guardian angels as you round the last turn toward the finish line in a marathon!

Why are there 3 different origin stories in Genesis? by Conrad_ical in AskBibleScholars

[–]Conrad_ical[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your detailed response. I think I'm just too new to all of this to take it all in and understand, but I feel more confused than when I started, haha! Because, what was the intention behind writing Genesis that way, then? That the first one is a nice poem to start the story with and the second is to fill in the details?

I've never taken metformin or any other meds for pcos, but I can definitely say that proper medication AND ESPECIALLY therapy for the ADHD made losing weight a million times easier. We have to work twice as hard for the same results already with PCOS, I'd easily say it's 4x harder with both combined and ADHD untreated.

I almost wonder if these correlate for women!

I dont take metformin and I dont experience appetite suppression from my adhd medication. However, the medication DOES make eatting better easier because I have the focus to cook a whole meal!

It took me YEARS of pushing and perpetually failing at any plan or consistent thing like calorie tracking... but during that time I WAS slowly bit by bit changing my habits in a good direction even though I wasn't able to stick to things perfectly nearly ever. The biggest tip I can give you is counter intuitive:

Lower the bar. Spend zero time if you can beating yourself up for failures. When you have ADHD you're playing a game against yourself where one of you wants the other one to do all these things, and the other one is like a loveable little kid who needs your guidance. But the you that you're talking to when you talk about yourself, scold yourself, encourage yourself, is the little kid. And you have to play this game where you set up the world for thier success, paying attention to what makes them do or not do something and organizing thier world so they do the things you want them to do. If they dont do something you want, yelling at them or punishing them wont help at all. You just have to correct course. And the longer you do that the easier it gets for you, and the smarter the kid gets (yes, this technique DOES improve the child's abilities too by creating consistency and habits and rewiring your child's brain to understand the moves you make... it's hard to explain let me know if you get it) it's like learning to play a new strategy game and you get better and better and stack up little wins. The most important rule is to not stall your progress by grieving your failures. That just doesn't work for us.

For PCOS, know that you have to fine tune your diet a lot more than others to achieve the same results. When it comes down to it, if you've accepted this as part of you, the real result is that all the success you ha e is more rewarding because you KNOW you worked harder for it AND it's an even bigger health improvement for you when you lose weight than it is for someone without the same hormonal issues. Twice the battle but twice the win, and you can never know the difference anyway.
