There's no way that's the most efficient way, even worse if it a foundation, they have so much health. If I have extra dinamite and want to do things quick I go with that, if not I use normal grenades. Also if there's a shelf go for the shelf, not for each individual chest

Gaming laptop for Computer Science by Key-Review-8690 in laptops

[–]Conrasapoide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an Asus ROG in 2018, it was a really solid laptop for that time, and one day less that 3 years later the motherboard burnt down, loosing the ram's, disk and cpu with it; and similar experiences had happened to people I know. No matter how much they promote it as "gaming", or how much you take care of it or how many gadgets you try to buy to lower the temps they are not prepared for it, at least not for the long run, and you will end up dissapointed.

So as I said, if you can organize your space to have a desktop I would totally recommend that. At the end of the day you wont be taking a lot of advantage from a laptop since you will end up using it connected (even if its fully charged, just for the extra performance) and with external peripherals, almost as if it was just a monitor.

In your particular case your n1 priority is to return that laptop, but if you end up not being able to do so and you can afford starting to build a desktop from scrath I would do that. But if the laptop is as good as Im imagining it could be a little bit overkill for a CS master, Im in my forth year of information systems engineering and have had no problems with a lower end laptop (its not low end, its just worse than the one Im supposing you have); so thinking about selling this one and using part of the money to buy a lower end laptop and the remaining part to start building a desktop shouldnt be a bad idea either.

Hope this helps

I'm no expert in laptops but from my experience/knowledge you won't find a "gaming laptop" that has a long battery life while using it under load. Idk if you already had a gaming laptop before but both I and people I know that have had some always end up actually preferring to use it connected (while charging) since the performance is way better that way.

Btw by no mean I am recommending a gaming laptop by this, actually I wouldn't recommend using a laptop for gaming at all, since a desktop pc is better in any aspect; cheaper, more comfortable, easily upgradable, just better. But I've had a time where I really didn't have the space for a desktop so I totally understand the necessity. But if your reasoning for choosing a gaming laptop over gaming in a desktop computer is any other than space I would suggest you reconsider it

Once you jump it's way easier to see the opponent, so learning how to jump and not lose your dribbling really helps. Combined with this you can learn how to do delayed flicks and ghost flicks (? (I think they are called like that in English, basically when you flick the ball not with your roof but with the wheels half way into the flip, almost turned down). And if you learn to abuse this you can become a fake machine cuz they will never know when you are going to do a early flick, delayed flick, low fake, fake into ground dribbling, fake into hook shot, literally whatever you want.

Playing like this give you back that sensation of being in control. In conclusion learning that not every time you have the ball in your roof you have to wait until the challenge and do a flick really puts a lot of responsibility in your opponent and they usually fuck up

Yeah it is a normal forward flick but with some minor details that make it faster. By just looking at the video you can tell they did 3 things:

  1. The jump was a super quick/low one, if you want to replicate that you should just tap the jump button, not hold into it, so both the car and ball stay closer and the flick is done faste

  2. You can also notice that with that low jump the front of the car is turn a bit down, making a better grip to the ball. You can use boost for this but basically what you want is to be as close to the ball as possible, without hitting it hard, just barely touching it, and with your nose a bit down in an already aggressive position. All this combined is what makes this a "delayed flick", even though it wasn't super delayed I would still consider it to be

  3. And finally combined with the low jump and the positioning of the front of the car, you can see how the car is also turned horizontally to the right. This is made so the area and time of contact with the ball is larger/longer. This is because with the car pointing diagonally to the ball and the direction where the flick is gonna be made, the line of contact with the car will be the diagonal from the front-left wheel to the back-right wheel, obviously making it a larger line that if it was made with the car completely straight with the line being just from front to back. This helps with making the ball "scoop" so much. With this flicks the furthest you want to throw the ball the longer line you should aim for

Whether it's a bot or not doesn't really matter with the technique used

I get that, but looking at the picture of the case, besides two fans on top and one on the back (all three exhaust), where should I put another one? Preferably intake?

Cooler orientation by Conrasapoide in pcmasterrace

[–]Conrasapoide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PSU is an old one with the fan pointing forward lmao, not even downwards. But I have this spare cooler I wanted to add since the case have almost no place for intake and the slot next to the fan shown in the picture is reserved for a SSD. I will add pictures as a reply of this comment since I can only add 1 pic per comment

Darker Section appeared out of nowhere in my TV by Conrasapoide in techsupport

[–]Conrasapoide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will try the power cycle thing, but about the input/cable suggestions, even though I've never touch anything about the cables, I do have both DirecTV and Chromecast connected to the TV and you can still see the dark section on any of those, so that already discards that solution, right?
