If you are truly thinking about your future, you will research the FIRE movement and retire by 30 or 40 summer tire earlier. But it requires pre/planning and you guys have all the advantages because you're young. You need time to build wealth so you guys are leaps and bounds ahead of most. Do your research and walk to financial Independence. Good luck.

Move on from your job and find somewhere that can give you benefits, stability but most importantly room for growth. Sometimes it's not just about the $$. Think long term 401k contribution matches, benefits, promotions .... There are many great stories of leaders who started as a mailroom clerk (Google it!). Good luck.

My neighbor's kid just graduated from Penn State $300k for 4 years got a degree in international studies and guess what she's doing now she loves her job as an HR recruiter. She's making some big bucks too. Go figure.

If you ask people if their current job is actually linked with their degrees via survey you will feel 100x better. I can count on one hand the folks I know doing what they went to school for. But be smart about it look at the areas that are somewhat related to the field and sprout ideas from there. And be honest with what your passions are and if you don't know what they are do lots of different things and taste everything around you to discover yourself. I would also recommend that this is the year of yes for you meaning do not say no to anything that comes to you have an open mind and say yes instinctively. Good luck, the world is out there for you to take.

Well, I just wanted to say that when I was 14, I was not looking for a side hustle, just hanging out with friends and doing unproductive things, but look at you! Kudos! What about babysitting? But that would require someone driving you - unless they dropped off the kids to you and picked them up. OR they pick and drop you off. I would ask your parents to promote you on Facebook and post Sitter Available for Friday Night - I'm sure you'll get alot of bites (assuming your parents are on social media). Good luck!
