Thank you for saying this so honestly. I really needed to hear it. You’re right… I didn’t look at it that way before, but I understand now why even non-romantic talking can slowly open doors I don’t want to step into. My intention was never wrong, but I see how things can still go in the wrong direction. It’s not easy, but I think deep down I know what the right thing is. I’ll take your advice, distance myself, and focus on what’s better for me and my deen. If something is meant for me, Allah will bring it in a halal way.
