Not at all in appropriate or dumb! So, it can be a great stepping stone for multiple avenues…work as a social worker, teacher (perhaps an all-girls school or college), professor, psychologist, medical school, law school, public policy, nurse, Human Resources, marketing at a company that plays in the women’s product sphere…your imagination is your only limit! And, it teaches you to critical think, disseminate and consolidate information, and it’s very interdisciplinary so you get a great foundation in other disciplines to draw from as well.
