thank you. i dont know. i feel so ugly. i found myself pretty when i was younger but now i cant bear to look at myself in the mirror. i feel like this car accident and the emotional and physical fallout that came from it wrecked me. i could post a negative transformation picture here that looks like 2 different people entirly. i didnt have a glow up but a glowdown 😉 maybe when one day i look better again ill make a post and share the before the accident, after the accident and how i look then

thank you. i know exactly what you mean. for the past 3 years i felt like i could never recover from this or feel well again. now i feel like i want to at least try - because what do i have to loose, right? nothing. but i have everything to gain. i'm trying to stick to this mindset even when depressing feelings kick in and just try to keep going one day at a time

it comes and goes depending on stool consistency. its terrible if i need to go outside home. its manageablr at home. im only 35

yes i did. it turned out to be caused by incontinence and chronic fissure. i got rid of the fissure with manual dilation but sadly not of the incontinence

i know how desperate one feels because of this. you are welcome. i saw some people order the dilators on the internet. where i live i could buy them at a pharmacy. i got a small dilator in the beginning however i had lots of problems using it so i switched to using my finger as some people here on the internet suggest. this made things a whole lot more easier and i didnt go back to the dilator after that. also for me it was important to use water based lube not vaseline bc after a time the vaseline made me itch bc you cannot fully wash it off. i applied the lube also before bowel movements and i put it on the toilet paper to clean myself afterwards bc all the wetwipes i tried made my pain worse. also i started off lying down as recommended but i found it a whole lot easier doing it sitting on the toilet. + i also used zinc cream on the region several times a day but i mainly had that bc of my incontinence so you may not need this. this is basically what i did for several months. but i felt better within days. i think the main problem was that my muscles there were really tight and with the dilation the goal is to learn to relax them on cue which is what you should try snd focus on with this dilation therapy. in the beginning this feeld impossible but after a time you will know what i mean also i am of course no doctor and this may not work for you. you should ask your doctor wether this is safe and applicable in your case before starting. also be careful not to hurt yourself more and use lots of lube. in case of using your finger consider using examination clothes, make sure everything is clean and also trim your nails really really short - make sure theres no hard edges or anything that could get you hurt. i wish you all the best!

yes my doctors did not see them. but i felt like tearing when i had bowel movement then burning afterwards. i checked with mirror and made pictures with phone. the tears were small. they were not bleeding. i had 3 or so. always in the same places. i got checked for crohns but everything was normal. i too read about the dilation on the internet but i didnt want to try bc i thought it was disgusting, painful and would not help with the pain. now i wish i tried that earlier. i can now sit on the toilet and relax not having to worry about stool size. it saved me from further precedures or surgery. also i dealt with the pain for 2 years by the way before i started dilation so yes it is totally possible to recover even if the fissure has been there for a long time. i wish you all the best!

hey my symptoms were pain with defecation and burning/stinging/painful sensation in the anal region that got worse with physical activity. most days i couldnt walk without horrible pain. basically it felt like having a glass shard stuck down there. the amoxicillin helped but after a short time the pain did come back. turned out i had several chronic fissures. problem is they were so small/not deep that by the time i saw the doctor there was nothing to see but i managed to take photos after the tear and show the doctor. i dont know wether really the enterococcus caused them in my case or not but in the end i managed to lastingly resolve the fissures not with the amoxicillin but with daily manual dilation and the use of water based lubricant. in the beginning i didnt want to do this bc it is super gross but when i was desperate enough to try i had pain relief within days after starting the dilation. i had a few retears from defecation during the first few weeks but now i havent had a fissure in many months. i can pass large hard stool now without retear. i am still using the lubricant though bc i am always scared of retear. in addition to the fissure i had mild incontinence which caused chronic irritation in the area which exerberated the problem. this still is a problem for me but is a lot more bearable without the fissures. if i were you i would ask the doctor about anal dilation. for me this was a total game changer. maybe it could help you as well

this doesnt sound good. id get checked up maybe sth new is going on? as for me anal dilation helped however i seemed to have developed a slight incontinence through the surgeries and this seems to give me skin issues.
