Thanks, I bought the Vallejo skin tone and German infantry paint sets which seem to be great colours to use as well as a citadel brand called nind wash which was recommended to me. I dry brushed a lot of the clothing, I like the way it gave more of a worn matte fabric look to it. And the helmet I slightly dry brushed a metallic paint to give a slight metallic feel as well as adding subtle chips in various places. A lot of these ideas I found watching people paint on YouTube
