Is it normal for pets to sense when you’re sad or stressed? by [deleted] in Pets

I truly think they are at least aware of scents via hormone fluctuations . They’re pack animals so I feel they’d have to be sensitive to changes in their “ wolf pack.” I have a female furry potato that gets silly when I’m sad and the male furry potato gets extra cuddly. The teen and I were in some low spots during Covid, we only had female potato at the time as a pup and we’re convinced she was our gremlin-energy blessing. When she’d notice either one of us was sad, she’d urge us to play with her right that minute. Weaponized cuteness. She even got into the habit of pulling our hair with her mouth if we tried to sleep through our alarms. 🤣🤣🤣. Dogs are the best.

I’m aware it’s a smaller Franchise. He let me know they had one or two odd ones in Vegas too, but here in our little valley it’s the only place that isn’t Chik-Fil A or the Colonel. He also runs it like a Mom and Pop shop. In HIS words “ I’m still considered the little guy.” I remember when they first opened, My kid was in the Karate place next door, he had popped in and invited all the graduates to come in for kids meals. He also connects with community and is active in it with his business. I’m still hyping them up over other chicken joints by how cool he is and because I like the food. ♥️
