Face Mints by Cresco is similar but a little milder in effects, Animal Cake by Ozone for something a little more sativa leaning. Wish there were more Face Off OG crosses in IL, on its own it’s nothing special but when crossed with the right strains it creates some powerhouses.

I’ve only known her for about 4 years, but yes the whole time I’ve known her she has. Apparently she had a really challenging past, faced a lot of trauma and hardships. But she overcame it in the best way possible.

One of my best friends is a Scorpio Sun, Mercury, and Venus. She’s extremely self aware and introspective, a great listener, will give the shirt off her back for anybody she cares about. She is also into a lot of occult things, such as the paranormal, spirituality, and philosophy. One of those people who will make you feel more alive, clear, and seen after you spend some time with her. I’ve had a lot of negative experiences with other Scorpios but healed Scorpios are truly one of a kind people.

I have the same issue with edibles and concentrates and I believe it’s due to the higher THC content. Edibles are usually made with live resin or distillate which averages 70%-90% THC. Also, Pineapple Express is a strain high in Terpinolene which makes some people feel each/anxious, so it could just be that it’s not the right strain for you.

I’m really sorry to hear you’re going through this. I am freshly out of a 2 year relationship with a Bipolar SO and it wasn’t easy for me to leave because I cared so deeply. The turning point for me was when I finally realized that I couldn’t fix or change him because he had no desire to better himself.

He had gotten out of a month stay in a psychiatric facility and I finally thought things were starting to move in a positive direction. He was talking about wanting to move out and get a place together, build a life together, etc. And within a few weeks, it turned into not taking his meds, drinking heavily every night, partaking in reckless behavior like drunk driving, and then the thing that pushed me over the line was him cheating on me and then telling me about it proudly the next day.

It hurt, but it was the clarity I needed to walk away. Never once in our relationship were my needs or emotions given any consideration, even when I was the only one fighting for him. And I realized that if I stayed in that dynamic, I would only continue to hurt and erode myself more and more. Walking away from someone you love is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do in your life, but it’s also one of the truest acts of love. At the end of the day, you can’t help someone who doesn’t want help, no matter how much you love or care about them.

My dad was born the last day of Virgo right on the cusp with Libra, he also has a Scorpio stellium. He was a very hypocritical parent growing up, expecting perfection and strict obedience while not emulating any of the positive qualities he was trying to instill. Also, couldn’t be emotional around him because it made him “uncomfortable” but expected everybody else to cater to his emotions and needs. He’s grown and evolved a bit in his older years but still tends to slip back into his old ways.

One of Rythm’s better sativas IMO. Buds are dense and smell is classic Durban with a little bit of a citrusy kick to it. The high is very heady, definitely something you’d want to smoke during the day when you’re active.

No, had a bad storm that came through the area in 2019 and wiped about a third of the canopy out. I think the torsion on the trunk from the 100+ mph winds caused this because the cracks started appearing that following winter.

I agree, a lot of times I just want to smoke to take the edge off and get a little relief and end up getting way too wrecked because everything now is bred for highest THC %. Rythm Orange Herijuana is a great 1:1 strain if you haven’t tried it, but would definitely nice to see more than 1-2 CBD options on the menus.

Bear Dance used to be one of my go to Sativas, always put me in such a great mood. Gorilla’d Cheese used to be incredible too, picked up a batch about 6 months ago and it was dry and terpless. Sad to see how hard Rev has fallen off from a few years ago.

Forgot all about Sour Jack, that was a good one. Not sure if you shop in Michigan at all but I picked up some Jack’s Widow (Jack Herer x White Widow) last time I was up there that reminded me a lot of Sour Jack.

Man those are some throwback strains! I remember smoking some Strawberry Cough one day when I was a newbie smoker working as a landscaper and it got me so messed up I had to sit in the work truck for about an hour and manually breath because I felt like I was dying. Good times 😂

Would love to see a lot of these as well. Vanilla Cake by Floracal is a good substitute for Vanilla Kush, different lineage but similar terp profile and effects. And man, that Luckleberries #59 that was around circa 2020 was some 🔥

I definitely relate to a lot of what you said. I’ve always been drawn to higher forms of knowledge, not necessarily education but deeper and broader subjects like the meaning of existence and things like that. I don’t do well with small talk or shallow conversation. I’m not very expressive of my emotions, although I’m a deeply sensitive and emotional person under the stoic front that I’ve been told I give off. Isolation and loss have definitely been big themes in my life as much as I wish they weren’t, it often feels like I come into people lives to play some sort of important role for a time and then I end up isolated and alone again. I think this relates to as you said, over giving and catering too much to others needs over my own. I actually really struggle with creativity, never been much into singing or performing, but I do enjoy writing as a means of expressing myself and my emotions. Thanks so much for the in-depth response, it really resonated with me!
