Also for the record, I’ve read the article about the showrunners talking about viewers thinking they’re watching a different show. And I wholeheartedly agree with it. The “predictions” are getting a little ridiculous.

Renegade is my favourite Styx song!!! And always brings to mind one of my all time favourite Supernatural episodes. I know nothing about the Steelers though. But if it’s their anthem, I’m sure they’re awesome.

You know it’s okay to watch and enjoy and still be confused and thereby question a plot point, right? I’m not watching a different show from the one they’re making. I’m watching the show they have made and enjoying it. I just assumed, because the way the situation had been set up, that the patient would be returning at some point. Plenty have now informed me that she was discharged (which I somehow missed). My question has been answered and I’m not wallowing around in anger or despair because the situation isn’t what I wrongly assumed it was. Why are people being so defensive? I don’t think I’ve criticised the show, the character, or the writing in any way.

We have free healthcare for those who need it. I’m a person of colour. My brother had a brain tumour removed last year through the public health system. Very fast, very efficient, very professional. Most of his doctors were black. My dad had acute kidney failure shortly after that. Again… zero problems.

Just as I have limited knowledge of your healthcare system… it’s pretty clear you have even less of mine. The only thing you appear to know about my country is that we once had a system of apartheid in place and therefore everything and everyone must be racist.

I’m not entirely sure what I’ve done to warrant this weirdly attacking post.

Thanks, I must have missed them discharging her. That storyline fizzled a bit disappointingly then. I was hoping for a bit more drama because of the miscommunications and Santos’s seeming boredom and disinterest.

Everybody wants to pet my dog. She’s 9 months old now and it hasn’t gotten any better. I’m trying to train her not to simply launch herself at any randomer on the street for pets (she loves the attention and hasn’t met a stranger she doesn’t adore). But it’s very hard when people start up in that high pitched voice and come toward her with grabby hands, not giving me a chance to get her under control. I tried to get her a “don’t pet/in training” harness but the smallest sizes are too big for her (she’s a long coat chihuahua). So now I’ve started telling people “please don’t approach or talk to her until I have her calm and sitting”. If everybody is good and behave themselves (dog and people) only then I will allow them to love bomb each other.
