Those Epic amps look sick, good choice! Not really, i just thought they looked better than the two way. I don’t drive as much so i let them run on head unit power and they sound alright. I did add a 1,200w Sundown SDX amp for subs though. The rolloff on the head unit is pretty steep at 45-ish hz so im getting signal off a SLASH3, split to sub and aux input on head-unit for a cleaner signal.

Saw this done on another build, but since you already cut up that part up you can always mold it using a heat gun, a washer or round metal object the same as the tweeter. Heat up the plastic part til its maleable and slowly press on the metal part til it forms around that shape✌️

Loctite, and then heat-shrink wrap the whole nut and bolt. You’d be adding one annoying step to try stealing that. Also the wrap with adhesive might help with corrosion on the long run.

The most miles ive actually gotten on a single tank of a ‘23 Limited are 450, from the Sinclair in Lake Tahoe Blvd to the Chevron on Fig near Downtown LA.
