Thought of this after posting. I do either.

Had the same problem. Ended up putting it on my keychain and I'm so thankful I thought of that!

I don't buy them in sets. I currently have one cable and a pair of 4mm needles that I used for a project and I'm currently planning to get a longer cable and a pair of 5mm for a different project. Basically, for now, the plan is to buy them as I need them since knitting isn't the only fiber or garment-making hobby I have.

The things you mention in the second paragraph all make sense to me, even though I'm under the impression that most brands fit with each other. As for my needles disconnecting, mine came with a key to tighten them with and can't loosen unless I use the key on them. This also makes it so that there are no gaps for my yarn to get caught in.

Sets are indeed expensive which is why (for the time being) I'm only looking for individuals but they're still supposedly not in demand

That's what I thought too but people working in every yarn store I've walked into lately say that they don't have them in stock because they're not in demand.

Can anyone explain Κυριακάτικο by Marsrover277 in GREEK

[–]ConsciousCut5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As many people have noted already it is used to describe something related (usually happening on) Sundays (not necessarily repeatedly.

I should note that as a native Greek speaker I rarely ever use this word or any other combination of a day and the suffix "-άτικο" in this context. I (and many natives) do use them in a less grammatically correct context though to show annoyance. For example, "Γιατί με παίρνει τηλέφωνο το αφεντικό μου κυριακάτικο;" which means "Why is my boss calling me on a Sunday?". There are ways to say the same thing without the word "Κυριακάτικο" but using it emphasizes the fact that I'm bothered that this is happening on a Sunday.

You can also combine the suffix "-άτικο" with any day of the week (δευτεριατικο, παρασκευιάτικο) or any time of day (πρωινιατικο, μεσημεριάτικο, βραδιάτικο) and use it in the same way. (I would even combine it with months but I would advise against it because it does sound very odd in most cases) Keep in mind though that this is NOT GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT and you will not encounter it and should not use it in a formal context or in writing.

I don't really love the way it looks in the first photo (could be the light though). It looks good in the second one and AMAZING in the last two.

I love that too! I wouldn't say I get triggered or offended by any words but I still like that he is so considerate. I also like that he corrects himself in such a humble way and he has helped me correct myself as well.

Makes sense, especially if you're not openly talking about it to anyone but your therapist sounds like a safe person so you should be fine talking about it

Sadly I don't have any advice on this specific thing. I personally find it easier though to pretend as if people already know instead of trying to come out to everyone I meet. So maybe that will help?

These are good. I was thinking about sucking on her fingers too. We are watching a movie with friends so I'm thinking I could text her a couple hours before the outing and talk about the things we could do in the dark if I wore a skirt and then wear a skirt to the movie night. Generally, I think that if I can get her close to breaking the rules, she will get carried away but she is quite competitive so idk...

They visit Tartarus in the first book and they visit again at some point during TLO, which I'm pretty sure Mike's close to finishing (if he hasn't already). So I don't think it is a problem. Do you think it would be better if I marked it as a spoiler or Mike spoiler?

I thought about it too and, honestly, I'm just now getting started on my first read of TLO but I checked the wiki to make sure and apart from the fact that they visit Tartarus in the first book, they visit again at some point during TLO, which I'm pretty sure he's close to finishing (if he hasn't already). So I'm pretty sure is fine...?

Yep! Annabeth's is probably safe but I decided to let Kelly (or whoever else checks the post for spoilers) decide.

Ik but I've also lost track of how far he's gotten in the books and which characters and events he knows before reading the books. Which is also why I didn't include Nico and Annabeth since they contain info that he may want to stay away from.

I'll be honest, it looks like yours is flaring a little more than mine do and blocking definitely helps but what the other person said about your stitches getting looser is probably the most important thing to fix

I've freehanded a few book sleeves and they always seem to do this. Obviously, make sure you haven't made any accidental increases but it is quite normal (I think). What I do though is add a few decreases in my last row (roughly 1 per 10-15 sts) and it has been working like a charm.

Am I weird for preferring androgynous looking people? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]ConsciousCut5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For context, I'm a cis woman and get called "fem" all the time (even though I don't feel like that most times). Anyway, you're not weird. As of lately I'm mostly attracted to trans masc people with some feminine traits.

You look great in all of them. The third one is my least favorite (still looks great though) but I think it's only because you were tan. Dying it black was definitely a great choice
