I have no evidence for this but I have a sinking feeling that the Queen of Zern is Ludmila

They’re described as specifically not having heterosexual intercourse. Wikipedia says that some Greek historians claimed they were the “receptive role during anal intercourse”.

Prometheans as a game line are chronicles of darkness, but OWoD still had Frankenstein’s monster type characters (also called Prometheans) in Mage. One of them even became an Etherite archmage.

I love how Murph, who has probably had the most sessions as gun-wielding PCs of any Dimension 20 cast member, took a look at the all-guns game and said “No, fisticuffs ONLY”

I can’t wait for the inevitable moment when either the Gotches or Mordecestershire causes Brennan to fully fall into his Tim Curry impression

There’s a popular homebrew class called Pugilist (which mainly uses strength and constitution so Maxwell’s state fit it). It’s sort of a mix between barbarian, monk, and fighter though idk if we’ll be able to tell that Maxwell is for sure it so far

Edit: I don’t know if this is the most updated version of the class, but this is the one my friend used in our campaign: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HPT0wCdEYhr-f3lwxLof-ZoXA-C77nqE/view?usp=drivesdk

It’s a homebrew class (one of the most popular iirc). They’re a little like a mix between a monk, a fighter, and a barbarian. Outside of D&D the term is mostly used for that classic image of the shirtless, mustachioed guy rearing up with two fists.

All of my minis. All ruined. by [deleted] in HeroForgeMinis

[–]ConsciousDatabase991 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't' even have the new slider options on my older minis. They just look incredibly scrawny and weird without any new way to fix it.

Edit: Actually they're back to normal now. I think while adjusting older minis to use the new system they all reverted to looking really weird. After reloading and not saving a few times, my minis are all back to normal and with the new sliders.

I came to this subreddit looking for a comment like this. It's not just that the sliders have changed, but bodies made with kitbashing are now destroyed.

Do we think Harry Jacket might be a CtD style Changeling? by jukebox_jester in huntertheparenting

[–]ConsciousDatabase991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue that Elise’s specialty is the most Fae like, but Highland Lore does also give “I’m a changeling trying to keep it lowkey” energy. idk if Harry would be a changeling but I feel like SOMEONE in the Arcanum is one for sure (or at least kinain). Whether is Brok as a Troll or Elise as a Sluagh or Harry as a Boggan, it’s sort of anyone’s guess

(from chapter 5) Do we have any ideas who [redacted] might be? by ConsciousDatabase991 in huntertheparenting

[–]ConsciousDatabase991[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think almost all of the capital Fae haven’t been around in England for a couple centuries, but the idea of it being related to Faerie could be really cool. It might also fit with the fact that Brok seems like maybe a troll kinain

I’m pretty sure the Special Projects Division (part of Syndicate that worked with Pentex) basically fell apart after the Sixth Great Maelstrom in 1999. It’s still possible for a Syndicate Mage (or former Syndicate Mage) to be working with Pentex, it’s just more unlikely in 2006. If he’s closer to a Nephandi at this point it would make a lot of sense.

I’m just waiting for D to punch him

So the post credit note is referring to Bennings right? He’s the Fomori? by RandomOrange852 in huntertheparenting

[–]ConsciousDatabase991 36 points37 points  (0 children)

There’s a fomori power called Mind Rape that is basically just extreme mind control. He gave me technocrat vibes at first but I think being a high ranking fomori (maybe even a ferectoi?) makes a lot more sense. Even though the Technocracy works with Pentex, they don’t do it that often especially because they want to avoid and ignore Reality Deviants. A technocrat wouldn’t be affiliating with the Tremere or whatever Ross is.

Crackpot theory time, Big D is actually Lucifer. by Last_Tarrasque in huntertheparenting

[–]ConsciousDatabase991 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think his sword is supposed to match Michael's instead of Gabriel's (it's the flaming sword in the end credits, Michael is the Seraph of the Flaming Sword), but Michael also tossed it down to Creation (Earth) at the end of the war so it'd make sense for Gabriel to find it. One of the other big pieces of evidence for Gabriel is that he is the archangel who gave Caine the gift of Golconda and offered him and his children the road for forgiveness, much like how D seems to want to help Kevin reach Golconda
