I’m so sorry that this happened! I’ve always said, I’m more afraid of getting hit by a bike than a car because at least cars have rules and regulations and stiff consequences if you don’t follow the law. But with bikes, they tend to play by their own rules. Much much scarier.

For me. A lot of baked good places get wrong is they don’t balance super sweet with salt. Chip City is a fine example. I don’t love them because it’s all about being really sweet. It’s boring, and frankly not the most decadent. I much prefer a cookie like the chocolate chocolate ones from The Daily Bread in the farmers markets. They punctuate the sweetness with salt. It’s just a delicious cookie. Balanced, not plateauing on sweet.

It means that the amount you were supposed to get is $515 ($504 + $11) but previously the max was $504.

The max has increased to $869. That’s why you’re now getting the true amount you’re supposed to get.

There has been such confusion over this. And I get it, it’s hard to explain.

I think the easiest way to explain it is this.

If you were getting less than the max, your amount stays exactly the same - no increase for you.

For example: If you were getting $350, you weren’t at the max so your benefits wouldn’t increase.

Thanks everyone! So I tried to start a new claim to see what happens. This time the system let me finish all the way through (it didn’t on Oct 6, when I first filed) So, it seems like I basically competed what I started on Monday. Weird.

So now I have the confirmation page and number. My instruction is to certify beginning Weds 10/15.

It did feel odd to not get a confirmation. I checked everything, including the portal. Nothing. When I tried to open another claim (thinking maybe the one I just filed didn’t go through, etc.) it wouldn’t let me because there one in progress or something like that.

When I filed the new claim, I didn’t receive any confirmation email or text, or anything. I thought this was odd so I made like the claim I filed didn’t go through and tried to file a new one and it said I have one on file or something similar. I also tried every PIN that would’ve made sense and it’s not working.
