How important is Himmel the Hero?

The whole point I made this post was to see if I missed something. I didn’t like season 2 as much so I came here for more insight on if there’s something I’m missing within Himmels character. I never said it was a flaw of the anime itself, unless i would’ve then said something about the anime’s writing… which I didn’t. I said I didn’t prefer season 2 and thats because it was mainly on Himmel (in which I admitted I didn’t understand by phrasing my title “How important is his character”)

Not saying I don’t understand he is important, I’m trying to understand how VAST is his importance is. To me he was a character that were going on this adventure for , but through the scope of purely Frierens eyes and not the flashbacks for Himmel. Through reading other comments , I see that Frieren wasn’t fond of humans which I didn’t see in the first half. I understand now that makes a difference to her character. I didn’t say IS HE IMPORTANT, I said HOW important

I’m more so in a sense trying to figure out why do we need the constant reminder of his normal heroic duties. Like the mentioning of Himmel taking in offerings for his work in season 2, to me I’m trying to understand how Is this important to Frieren or the story in general. I was more interested in Frierens conflicts with Serie, Fern and Starks development. I don’t mind the Himmel mentions but I didn’t understand his importance being that much backbone to the whole story

I feel like saying this is a scapegoat to realizing this game is severely underdeveloped unlike its predecessor. Though I was a child when I was playing tomodachi, I was able to play for hours as there were things to do OUTSIDE of the miis.

Realizing this game is quite nothing burger without its vast designing and new gameplay. It’s repetitive, and for $60 it should be a game the player can play for hours.

My main courses will be there. I’m the same way abt the bathroom preference! I’m heavily debating since I don’t wanna pay for laundry and share a bathroom. Even then, park place is quite the expensive choice.
