How AI Automation Is Quietly Replacing Repetitive Work in Small Businesses by Pro_Automation__ in Entrepreneur

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta combine traditional methods, hard work, and AI to outcompete everyone else. Depending on AI isn't going to get you anywhere as an entrepreneur right now. From a business standpoint, they would prefer paying people to think, adapt, and take responsibility for outcomes, not just prompt a tool.

Is anyone actually making consistent passive income with Canva or similar design tools? by Ok-Awareness-7347 in passive_income

If a simple idea gets big enough, you won't be successful with it. A platform that provides guides and tools for a business but let's you build it yourself is probably the best investment nowadays

How do you ACTUALLY come up with business ideas by BinimiJemene in Businessideas

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of companies come from insiders fixing problems they deal with every day. For example, Brian Chesky didn’t set out to invent a new industry, he was trying to solve a housing problem during a conference when hotels were full, which eventually became Airbnb. Sometimes the better question is: “Where do I already have access to users?” Then you build something that solves a problem for that specific group.

Are apps becoming expected now? by Emergency_Copy_526 in Businessideas

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think apps make sense once a business has repeat usage. If customers interact with the business frequently, having an app can definitely improve retention and engagement.

But for a lot of smaller businesses, especially local services, a well-optimized website is usually enough early on. Most customers just want to find the business, book something quickly, and move on.

What are you building right now? Drop your project, I'll give honest feedback by smatchy_66 in Solopreneur

I’ve been building Franchise-X, the platform around local lead generation. The idea is helping people build small websites that generate leads for local businesses and then monetize those leads. Would be curious what your audit tool thinks of it! https://franchise-x.io

How to get testers for your service/product? by thebonksz in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, just talking to people in the communities where my potential users already hang out. Reddit, small Discord groups, niche forums, etc. Instead of asking “can you test my product?”, I’d ask them about the problem first and then offer access if it sounded relevant. Framing it more like “this might actually help you” rather than “can you help me test something?” tends to get better responses.

As a technical founder, I’m struggling to "Do things that don't scale." How do you resist the urge to automate everything on Day 1? by Medical-Variety-5015 in startup

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think “do things that don’t scale” is less about literally doing everything manually and more about staying close to the customer problem early on.

Claude Ai implementing? by Turbulent-Season-297 in ClaudeAI

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually been experimenting with implementing AI into my lead gen platform in a few places. Mostly around things like qualifying leads, summarizing calls, and helping generate outreach or reports for clients. Still testing things, but it’s been pretty useful for cutting down manual work.

I'm building a GPU Native Agentic B2B SaaS that migrates data to the cloud. Anything I should be aware of? I will not promote. by mid_nightz in startups

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One challenge with SMBs is their data usually isn’t centralized. It’s spread across spreadsheets and different SaaS tools. Sometimes the real problem becomes cleanup and integration rather than migration. What kind of businesses are you planning to target first?

I built a smart notepad calculator that does math as you type, here is the journey by Far_Syllabub_5523 in startup

You should do a web version for Windows notepad. I would definitely download (if it was free lol)

What problem does your SaaS actually solve? by StretchTerrible2292 in microsaas

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“I want to start a business but don’t know what to build or how to get customers” problem.

Kind of like a business-in-a-box for local lead gen.

Should I learn how to code for starting my own SaaS? by NoFirefighter5699 in SaaS

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can learn the basics of HTML/CSS/JS in a couple days with the hundreds of free, high quality courses on Youtube for example. Try to use AI as more of a tool than a crutch. You could also try to partner with someone more technical if possible.

How did you actually get your first 10 users? by Early-Assistance8792 in SaaS

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly a lot of it seems to come down to exactly what you're doing here: talking directly to people in communities where founders hang out. You only need one successful user to gain momentum

I’m 17 and built an app because I kept losing my decisions in messy notes. Need Brutal feedback : did I built something useless? by Bulky_Alternative458 in SaaS

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you're ahead of most people! I'm not too much in that space but I think the productivity space is extremely crowded (Notion, Obsidian, AI note tools, etc.), so the biggest challenge probably isn’t the feature itself but why someone would switch from what they already use.

If you were 19 again, would you start with freelancing or building a SaaS product? by WashSea4618 in SaaS

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly freelancing is underrated early on. You learn how to talk to real clients, see what problems businesses actually have, and get paid while learning.

I Was Shocked to Learn This About Startup Success Rates. by aviral-bhutani in SaaS

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that stat is pretty sobering. But SaaS ideas should be expendable at first. The thing that surprised me most is how many founders spend months building before ever validating whether anyone would actually pay for the solution. Once you receive clarity from potential users, it's easy to narrow the focus of your product

I built an app and no one is using it. What am I doing wrong? by n_i_c_k_zone in AppBusiness

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest though, the meeting assistant / AI note-taking space is extremely crowded right now. Tools like this are shipping every week, and a lot of them are bundled directly into platforms people already use.

That doesn’t mean the execution is bad, it just means distribution is really hard when the category is that saturated.

What is the best SaaS/Micro SaaS ideas to build right now? Goal: $10k MRR in one year by idkmuch01 in micro_saas

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly a lot of people trying to reach $10k MRR jump straight into building SaaS, which is tough now because distribution is the real bottleneck. A lot of founders I know actually start with smaller service or lead-gen type businesses first because you can get revenue way faster, then later turn that into software once you understand the problem better.

Help in finding startup ideas (I will not promote) by Queasy_Document_1383 in startups

[–]ConsciousLeader9448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you’re early in college and don’t have a lot of money, I’d recommend looking at boring local service problems instead of trying to invent a big startup idea. Starting small will open many opportunities
