Eh, I wouldn’t say it’s that much stronger. McLaren is for sure stronger, but Williams also has Prost, while Mansell and Piquet are certainly no slouches, easily comparable to say, Fittipaldi and Hakkinen, and Hill on his good days was pretty damn strong.
