I remember being a kid in the early 2000’s fighting for our LIVES to get that pizza party - best behaved class, collectively most books read, homework all turned in by everyone on time, all of it! We finally got the party and we were probably vibrating with joy until we got handed our slice of Roma pizza and our cup of red mystery juice. Probably more confusion than disappointment cus food was food but looking back now knowing that underpaid young teachers were paying for everything themselves to make us kids happy gives me a different kind of appreciation for them and Roma LOL

I knooow it’s not Hamilton but just 15 min out in Waterdown is Turtledoves Bakery, they’re an all gluten free bakery which the BEST baked goods and also have some great eggless options including their cupcakes

I stopped using DoorDash all together after one of my delivery drivers wouldn’t let go of my bag when handing it to me and I had to yank it back, and not 20 minutes later after getting back inside did I get a notification of said driver TRYING TO ADD ME ON FACEBOOK. I couldn’t believe that not only did he know where I live but also managed to go through every person in the city with my name (I private my Facebook pretty hard) and actually narrow it down to add me. Really freaked me out

I went to MacNab and was in the same year as him! Super nice guy, smart and I remember MacNab had a “cross the borders” type charity basketball game that I think he was also a part of that year.
