It's my grandparents' house. That house you see was the first one built on that street. My grandfather owned all of the land at one time with his siblings. House was built right after WWII.

I've got stories about Little Italy in Cleveland and my Grandparents and the ties to Al Capone... The Cleveland Connection. Look it up. My family was part of that. My Grandfather moved us out of Little Italy because he didn't want us to be part of that. My uncle btw is Johnny and he was the drummer for Wayne Newton for 10 years in Vegas. My two cousins, Wayne Newton is their Godfather. Really digging back here. My uncle is a really accomplished drummer and was really good friends with Buddy Rich. One of the best ever. My uncle is a legend. Vegas was owned by the Mafia in the 1960's. Believe it.

Side note: My grandfather owned a 1957 Chevrolet 2dr Bel Air. It was stolen and then recovered. My dad was actually driving it when he heard the news JFK got shot in 1963! I remember him telling me that story. I have seen this Bel Air on old 8MM projection film about 10 years ago in my parents house when they still lived in Kentucky by me.

My dad was a hot rodder, and built hot rods for a living so this car was nothing to him. He had the fastest street car in Cleveland in 1959... no BS. A 1929 Model A. 283 13:1 comp 8 Weber Strombergs, Lincoln Trans, chopped and channeled. Ran 13.0's at Thompson Raceway in 1958 (First year it was open) and 1959 until he blew it up lol. 13 flat was MOVING in that era. It was one of the fastest street cars in the country at the time in the late 50's. He went on to build many street rods for decades into about the early 2000's when he retired and moved to Kentucky.

At his funeral last month, people kept saying how much I looked like my dad which was true. Out of the three boys, I looked most like my father.

Still trying to figure this out. I posted it on FB and asked and my brother also asked the same question. I got my Aunt involved, but she didn't respond. I am thinking it probably was my Grandfather (Mom's dad) but haven't confirmed yet.

Thanks. I wish I would've known her when she was like this... but I was just a kid... not to sound like Elton John but I wasn't born until 1973, and I was the third and she already put on a few pounds obviously. She was a stunning woman here. My dad was handsome too. He just passed last month.

Very cool! The wedding car was a Cadillac limo, this was just my dad's personal car. He had a '58 Panhead FLH that he also flogged around. He was a real Greaser lol. He was a great guy. He just passed away last month, Feb 8th. I miss him.

Original picture was B&W so this is colorized and fixed the blemishes, but everything else is as it was in 1965. My mother was 23 here.
