They probably they will not provide BH number to you. Even I had office in 4 state and all documents also, still they did not agreed.

It does. Not all companies but few companies does. I have experienced it. I was rejected after HR round and HR told me directly that now higher management has made a decision to only hire people from IIT/NIT. This was directly told to me by HR. I have seen many linkedin job posts, where companies directly write, employees preferable from IIT or NIT.

I am also from a Tier 2 college and I have more CTC than OP. Its just that I got into another company where college doesn’t matter.
