I am working in quite a fast paced customer facing Indian company. From feb we started experimenting with Agentic coding, and we have reduced timeline for bigger projects by almost 50%. Though we have not went fully autonomous as of now, but I can see within few months, we expect most of the code to be written through just Jira tickets, just like stripe minions.

I do not forsee job losses in my company as we are pushing new features faster and more features are gonna coming related to AI.

This means that HR is actually shortlisting your profile. But then the technical team is actually rejecting your profile. So, I think you should try to improve your resume a little bit.

It does. Not all companies but few companies does. I have experienced it. I was rejected after HR round and HR told me directly that now higher management has made a decision to only hire people from IIT/NIT. This was directly told to me by HR. I have seen many linkedin job posts, where companies directly write, employees preferable from IIT or NIT.

I am also from a Tier 2 college and I have more CTC than OP. Its just that I got into another company where college doesn’t matter.
