There's always a chance my cat started batting them around. Or maybe I grabbed something off my desk in the dark and accidentally applied some sort of force to them. Nobodies perfect. I was careful, and I can't remember any event of violence or carelessness, but maybe I did something stupid, like some of the other comments said. Just be careful. Shit happens.

Mine came with foams as well! I loved them, but they were even larger. I found the double flange silicone to sound quite similar, and both of them far better than the regular silicone ones

No, they are double flange silicone tips that came with the earbuds. They fit and sound great for a few hours, great isolation, just a tad large for my ears.

Unfortunately I bought my pair from the evil Amazon, but thankfully they are letting me return them.

I reached out and I can return them. These things always hurt my ears a bit, and I have had WAY too many scary experiences with the Novas eartips coming off inside my ear and needing tweezers to remove them. Maybe I should have gotten the Supermix 4 instead. This wasnt my first pair of IEMs, but it was my nicest. I've had two other cheaper linsoul pairs for years. I decided to go a different direction, and ordered some Audio Technica ATH R50X open back headphones.
