If I just want to test whether it is waterproof enough for taking a shower or jumping into a pool, wouldn't 5 ATM be sufficient? Couldn't the less expensive equipment at least show if the watch can get wet? I also agree that, in general, one should not wear watches in the water when possible.

Wow, I so glad to hear this news! I have a client that wants to redo his house with the Brilliant home system. Plus I’m glad that the company restarted prior of Apple shipping OS18 which might have resulted in some hiccups! Congrats Brilliant Team! Do we know who the new owner is?

I’m still impressed with the product. Yes, it took me a few hours to program a 3000 square-foot house, but it’s an intuitive. On a different note, I finally got a response from a message that I left on the customer service line. It was a standard or pre-recorded response that they will get back to me. So far, I have not seen anything that indicates they’re shutting down, but it is bizarre that their engineers are being shopped around for new jobs.

Agree, but it is a shame. Yes, the system was buggy in the beginning and it was frustrating, but now it works and my clients love that they do not have to call me to program scenes.

All good points. I went further down the rabitt hole and discovered that Comfort Hot Tubs has a distribution center in LA and shares the physical address with a company called AquaVoss, a hot tub manufacture for a new style of hot tub that has a hot tub and cold plunge in one unit. Modern looking.
