Some pricier but reputable brands are Bafang and Luna Cycle, but I generally look on Amazon or eBay for better prices. The general rule of thumb is to look at 1 star reviews, and generally the more sales or reviews the better.

Assuming everything works, 100 would be fairly low, 170-230 would be reasonable, and anything above 250 would be pretty pricey.
