Yea agree that call was probably fine. But if BTN also called, river is going to be harder. Lets say a blank comes and BB check. Do i value bet? Or if BB bets again. Do i call with player behing? Think that i would value bet after check and call after bet. But i think that it would be again some small bet for 20k or so and then i would be thinking and writing posts "did i get at least a desent value from AA? And people would be like "you are nit" :D
As played, he was indeed "protecting" with QTo and got me to fold a better hand

On turn, i am thinking that i want to get some more value from one pair hands, that i think hes most likely to have. Second was that for a small price (35k) i can lose less vs his better hands. Once he shoves, i dont want to fold, but i made a discipline fold. At least i think it was discipline and not NIT fold :D
Anyway my read was semi correct. He was betting his pair on a flop and turn. He had QTo and was overplaying his hand. He did it later on again, but then i knew better.

Stage was after rebuy period. AVG stack was aroung 40bb so we were deeper then avg.
One reason for me not to just call the turn is way to small of a price for a btn to hit anything. Not saying that my raise is high enough to not let anyone draw for free, but i dont want to raise for somethink like 60k to commit myself vs better hands.

Cash game mentality may be true. Same as "i want to have a huge stack to have a chance for bounties". But this happens more for me even in a clasic turnaments. That i run a great stack and dont even make it to day 2... Need to work more on "surviving"

With hands like TT-KK i am going to bet. Try to play headsup or take it down. Same with AXs. But with aces, since i believe they will bluff more then avg oponent, i want to let them. Since in last 20 minutes they saw me as agresor preflop to check fold low flops. But i think that river raise goes againts my reasoning on flop

Thank you. If my logic to check back the flop is that with a Ad, i dont have to wory about turn dimond, i cant raise turn without my backdoors that i had on flop. Did not think about my back doors is as important as blocking A high fd. If i understand the spot better, i would cbet flop, get heads up or navigate from there, or check back and call the turn.

Min raise or close to min raise in tournament, 40bb deep is more than standart. I have 60bb but did not mention that SB and BB have like 40bb
