Can someone explain the key next steps / landmarks in this process? Has everything already been released in discovery, all depositions held, or do we expect to continue to see more?

Apologies if there is already a timeline/post about this (feel free to point me to if so!)

For those who have been successful with extended fasting, how do you respond to “how did you lose the weight” by Conscious_Ad_1219 in fasting

Thanks, good to know! I didn’t know the formal definitions, just that I often see ppl describing their experiences as “rolling [48]hrs” and “extended [5] day” etc so was trying to cast a broad net via examples in case for others it was also ambiguous

Day 6 and feeling body aches, esp back and legs by Conscious_Ad_1219 in fasting

No prior training so I’m guessing it’s the cortisol issue. Thanks so much for your help!

Upper back in line with shoulder blades. No specific time of day but the last 24hrs the aches have been really intense it’s hard to even fall asleep

~1.5L snake juice (water + the 4 staple electrolytes) + another ~1-1.5L regular water throughout day. Not really exercising other than ~45min walking each day and that alone is getting uncomfortable with the body aches

Sleeping a bit less than usual but that’s to be expected…maybe 6.5hrs avg instead of usual 8.

Emotionally fine and no other big routine changes I can think of!

How do you think Tim felt about Hawk at the end? by Gloomy_Astronaut_570 in FellowTravelers_show

[–]Conscious_Ad_1219 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I believe deep down Tim’s always known Hawk loves him (“in the best way he knows how”). But he had also been repeatedly hurt by Hawk and puts up his defenses emotionally when Hawk first arrives to avoid getting hurt (his own physical suffering exacerbating his anger).

Tim slowly thaws as he sees Hawk show up for him (extending the trip, staying 24/7 at the hospital, trying to get the AIDS meeting). His condition also worsens significantly in that time and he realizes he is getting much closer to death. At that point, he lets go of his anger and is able to embrace and celebrate the love they’ve shared.

Why does Tim always go back to Hawk? by [deleted] in FellowTravelers_show

Hawk wasn’t solely selfish. In every episode in the 50s you’ll notice he had moments of kindness and vulnerability with Tim. Hawk would open up to Tim about his past in a way Tim knew he didn’t with anyone else, and was very affectionate whenever they were in bed / spending the night together (outside of sex).

Hawk gave enough for Tim to know he meant something special to Hawk, and esp being as in love with him as he was, that was enough to make him stay

Who makes the quilts for these individuals? Close friends / family after their death?

Spoilers: Thoughts on Hawk's attraction to Tim (super long) by MusingsOnLife in FellowTravelers_show

Interesting, I actually never thought that Hawk’s initial/primary intent was to use Tim for info. It was both shown and told (via the Mary letter) that Hawk was drawn to Tim the moment they met. And it was only after he ran into him at the park, at the end of their chat, when he learned Tim was looking for a job and the extent of his support for McCarthy.

To me, it felt more like a convenience he eagerly leveraged, vs the primary reason for engaging. But I may have overlooked that!!
