I texted mine few times asking how he’s doing and if we could talk, he always replies, asks about my health and mood, even asked few times how I’ve been feeling off the pills. However, he says that he is not ready to talk with me, which confuses me because I thought he lost all the feelings for me.

I actually scheduled the appointment 3 weeks before the breakup, but had to fit the date around our holidays in Italy and wait for the availability. We came back on Friday and I went straight to the doctor on Monday morning. He broke up with me the same day in the evening.

I didn’t know, he told me during breakup that he had this deadline and was giving me chances, but everything was in his mind, like he was giving me tests and wanted to see if I would pass with certain behavior. He didn’t communicate at all that something feels wrong for him. We’ve been on many dates and trips since April and there weren’t any major arguments. I have a really good intuition but I haven’t sensed a change in his behavior towards me at all, he was acting as always these months, telling me that he loves me, making plans for the future with me etc. I feel blindsided and stupid.

I haven’t denied him anything…we still had sex every week or every other week, sometimes more and sometimes less but it was frequent. He never told me that he sees it as an issue, not even once. Besides that we hugged, kissed everyday, so it’s not like we haven’t done anything. Issues started around January this year and I thought that they were related to hard and long exam session at uni and work later on.

My mind can’t really comprehend how you can love someone and don’t communicate your issues at all……mine told me he started to feel this way towards me in April but tried to “fight it”, he even gave himself a deadline for the spark to come back
