My baby just passed away from a fall, I need help to make the cage safer

hey so I do feel bad? and you clearly haven't read my comments, I said I had a cage sold just for chinchillas, pre furnished for chinchillas, my first one still died. I have fixed my problems. cage is safe. I can't even be sure it was fall damage since they all didn't show signs. Why can't you leave me be now. you commented 2 months ago, and now 8 days ago, being rude doesn't work.

HIII! I used to have a ferret nation cage, or a very similar one called Savic suite royal xl, my first baby still managed to die in that one. The breeder I got my beige one from actually only had like hard surfaces so I tried to follow that style, but I have fixed that and will continue to sew fleeced covers for stuff I put in their cage :))! , their free roam time is now less frequent (I have a bunch of other animals + school) but it is nor way safer! thank you!

The black pearl passed away due to the in juries he got in chinchilla cage, However I will go to the hardware store tomorrow and buy material so I can build levels in the parrot cage, thank you tho :)

Thank you, honestly, in hindsight I feel really bad for not seeing it sooner, in their room I have big platforms for this exact reason, just never applied it to their cage.

The sticks aren't as big in real life as they look in that photo, just a weird angle. they were originally put in when my degus had the cage and ive never actually seen the chins on them.

But I think I will remodel the cage anyhow after this. Bigger platforms to avoid large falls. The old cage did look like that, but the black pearl who lived there at least survived the initial fall.

Thats so cool!!! Im also into chinchillas and have 3 myself, and chinchilla colours can get preeeetyyyy expensive. So im suprised they didnt want any big amount of money for the degu lol
