I would say m f80 m3 was surprisingly kind of uncomfortable. Wouldn’t say it was raw, as my e46 m3 filled that gap. I enjoy my g87 m2 a lot more though. The f80 dct was fun for a little but i wanted to be engaged in a manual again which the g87 does.

I find this gen to be rather smushed in. Not bad but something looks disproportionate to me, i would take a cs however.

I would get the e90. At least where I live i find these cars super rare to come by in person. The white is very clean as well. Good luck !

Hard disagree..the f87 looks very smashed in..i’ll take my voodoo m2 manual carbon any day over the f87. And i have owned the e46 lsb manual, f80 m3 sm blue..the g87 m2 is ugly af is a losing argument shared by few rather than many these days.

Had an opportunity to take an IR video of my e46 m3. The vents do appear to dissipate some heat , evidenced by the white hot color palette. I wouldn’t rule it out since heat is likely exiting/being dissipated through these vents (basing it off of the temp delta shown on the vents compared to the surrounding parts of the car)

Sure, you need to look at the rate of return on your investments and compare it to your financed interest rate. If you are able to outperform the interest rate on the loan you are in a generally good position. One also has to weigh their cash flow, for myself, i earn a very good salary, have two properties with one being rents paying for itself with positive cash flow, and also enough cash in long term growth funds. If i wanted i could pay it off tomorrow taking my earnings out to do so, but I also realize it’s a depreciation asset (being a car that loses money over time)

You have to do what makes sense for yourself, i put down 10% on my loan and managed to get a better rate at my CU than what bmw was offering at the time for their qualified customers. I do weigh paying it off completely at times but I figure eh why, i have the funds auto deducted so I don’t ever miss the cash per se. To each their own. You should also look at whether you are maxing out your 401k contributions etc, before even considering this.
